Jack Flash Regular 10 seeds

Genetics & Origin of Jack Flash

Jack Flash comes from the Jack Herer line of Sensi Seeds. By its own account, the breeder wanted to create a Jack hybrid that combines the quality of a Sativa with the breeding advantages of a Skunk plant. To this end, a balanced blend of Super Skunk and Haze was crossed into a selected Jack Herer mother over several generations and consolidated mainly through backcrossing. According to Sensi Seeds, the result unites the power of the Afghani-Skunk ancestors with the Haze high of the Herer plants. The four usual phenotypes of Jack Herer are reduced to two in Jack Flash. The fact sheet states 55% Indica and 45% Sativa and lists the strain as a Cannabis Cup winner, without giving a year. The seed is regular, so it produces male and female plants. You will find the original line in our range as Jack Herer Regular.

Who Is Jack Flash For?

Jack Flash is a strain for everyone who wants to select from seed. It suits:

• Selectors looking for a mother plant from regular seeds
• Hobby breeders who would like to carry on working with Jack Herer genetics
• Indoor growers who use the compact phenotype in a Sea of Green
• Growers with space for medium to large plants
• Lovers of Skunk-Haze flowers and a Haze high

It is less suitable if you want to grow exclusively female plants without selection. You can find more regular lines with history under Classics and Landraces.

Growing Jack Flash: Indoor & Outdoor

Indoor Growing

Sensi Seeds gives the flowering time as 60 to 70 days; as a photoperiod strain, Jack Flash only flowers after the switch to 12/12. The seeds produce two recurring forms. According to the manufacturer, the Indica form stays compact enough for intensive cultivation in a Sea of Green and quickly forms very pronounced, resinous flowers with strikingly large calyxes. The Sativa-dominant form gains considerable height during flowering; according to the breeder, it achieves the best results when it finishes flowering at a height of one metre or more. It recommends this phenotype as a mother plant for everyone who has space for medium to large plants. Because the seed is regular, you determine the sex in pre-flowering and remove male plants if pollination is not wanted. Sensi Seeds describes the yield as abundant, without stating figures. You will find the basics in the Growpedia.

Outdoor Growing

For growing outdoors, Sensi Seeds assigns Jack Flash to a sunny, Mediterranean climate and describes it as a tall-growing plant. The manufacturer does not state a harvest date, a height in centimetres or a yield per plant. So plan for plenty of space and a sheltered spot in full sun. Only grow where it is legal to do so.

Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Jack Flash

Sensi Seeds says little about aroma and effect. The manufacturer describes the flowers as rich, glistening Skunk-Haze flowers; for the Sativa-dominant phenotype it calls the smell, the yield and the potency for mind and body almost incomparable. The manufacturer does not name individual aroma notes or a lab terpene profile. It sums up the effect as an opulent Haze high that comes from the Herer plants; the shop description speaks of a cerebral high. Sensi Seeds does not give a THC value – so we deliberately do not add an estimate. With regular seed with two clearly different phenotypes, you should also expect differences between individual plants. How the effect turns out in each case depends on phenotype, harvest time, dose and personal tolerance.

Note: Effect information is based on manufacturer data and user experience and does not constitute medical advice.
