Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Judge Dread
Karma Genetics calls Judge Dread a new, unconventional strain that emerged from a co-op with Bodhi and Genefinder. The lineage is DreadBread × Biker081. The breeder gives precise information about the mother: DreadBread is a cross of Mango Biche and Old Mother Afghani. It says nothing more specific about Biker081 at this point. Karma describes the result as a vigorous hybrid strain with large, full flowers. The breeder does not give an Indica/Sativa ratio, nor values for THC or CBD – we do not add any estimates on this. The seeds are feminised and photoperiod, so flowering only begins after the light cycle is switched to 12/12. From the Karma Genetics catalogue you will also find Biker Kush Regular, among others, in our shop.
Who Is Judge Dread For?
Judge Dread is a breeder's work with an unusual pedigree. It suits:
- Collectors who follow co-op projects by Karma Genetics
- Growers who find Mango Biche and Old Mother Afghani in the pedigree appealing
- Indoor gardeners who plan for around 9 weeks of flowering
- Greenhouse growers looking for a vigorous hybrid with large flowers
- Consumers who prefer a balanced high
The strain is less suitable if you expect documented figures for THC, height and yield before buying – Karma does not state them – or want to grow in unprotected open ground. You can find more strains for indoors under indoor seeds.
Growing Judge Dread: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Karma Genetics gives the flowering time as around 9 weeks and the yield as medium to high. The breeder does not state a figure in g/m², nor a plant height. It describes Judge Dread as a vigorous hybrid with large, full flowers. In practice this means: allow enough distance between the plants, ensure good air movement in the second half of flowering and support heavy shoots in good time with stakes or a net. As the height is not stated, it is worth keeping an eye on the stretch after the switch to 12/12. You will find the basics on climate and training in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
According to the breeder, Judge Dread is suitable for indoor growing and for the greenhouse. For unprotected open ground, Karma gives no information: neither on height and harvest date nor on yield per plant. If you would like to grow outdoors, a greenhouse is therefore the obvious choice – it protects the large flowers from rain in the final phase. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Judge Dread
Karma Genetics is brief but clear about the effect: the breeder speaks of a great, balanced high. Its course is described as stimulating and creative at first, relaxing later. The breeder itself does not name an aroma; it is described as tropical and fruity with earthy nuances. The manufacturer does not state a lab terpene profile, nor a THC or CBD value – we do not add an estimate on this. Because the potency is therefore open, it is best to be cautious the first time you try it and only increase the amount once you know the effect. How intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
Note: Effect information is based on manufacturer data and user experience and does not constitute medical advice.
