Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Jungle Lava
Jungle Lava comes from the Original Sensible Seeds catalogue and combines two cake lines: Lava Cake and Jungle Cake. The breeder gives the ratio as 75% Indica and 25% Sativa. The potency is striking: the data sheet lists 33% THC, while elsewhere the manufacturer speaks of trichomes that can reach over 30% THC. It does not state a CBD value. According to its description, the plants grow branched and spherical – it compares them to a giant cupcake – and are studded with large, thick colas. The seeds are feminised and photoperiod, so flowering only starts after the switch to 12/12. Another dessert cross from the same breeder is Wedding Cookies, bred from Wedding Cake and Do-Si-Dos OG.
Who Is Jungle Lava For?

- Lovers of sweet cookie and cake aromas
- Indoor growers who would like to harvest after 60 to 65 days of flowering
- Outdoor gardeners who want to be finished as early as late September

For occasional consumers or as a light daytime strain, Jungle Lava is less suitable at 33% THC. You can find more Indica-dominant strains from the feminised range under Indica strains.
Growing Jungle Lava: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
In the grow room, Jungle Lava flowers for 60 to 65 days and, according to Original Sensible Seeds, reaches 100 to 160 cm. The breeder gives the yield as 550 to 700 g/m². The plants branch heavily and form a rounded crown with thick colas – a net or stakes take the weight off the shoots. With such compact flowers, ensure strong air circulation and keep humidity low in the final weeks. A carbon filter is part of the basic equipment against the smell during flowering. You can read more about climate and support techniques in the Growpedia.

Choose a spot in full sun and support the side branches before the flowers become heavy. You can find more strains for open ground under feminised outdoor seeds. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
