Killer Queen Regular – G13 × Cinderella 99 by Brothers Grimm
What is Killer Queen? Killer Queen by Brothers Grimm Seeds is a regular, photoperiod and predominantly Indica-leaning hybrid of the Airborne G13/HP clone and a Cinderella 99 male. The cross originally comes from the breeder Vic High; Brothers Grimm has reissued it with a Cinderella 99 male of its own. 56 to 65 days of flowering are recommended. The plants grow bushy, stretch little and, according to the breeder, deliver medium to heavy yields. Tropical fruit aromas and a cheerful, uplifting effect are typical. The seeds grow into male and female plants, which makes the strain interesting for collectors and selectors – in the regular seeds category. Available in a pack of 13 seeds.

Genetics & Origin of Killer Queen
Killer Queen is a cult classic with a clear history: it was originally developed by Vic High, a breeder with the BCGA. He pollinated the Airborne G13/HP clone with a Cinderella 99 male from the Grimm line. The offspring turned out varied, as is usual with an F1 hybrid, but according to Brothers Grimm Seeds consistently showed strikingly fruity aromas. To make the strain accessible again, the breeder recreated the cross with its own selected Cinderella 99 male; it counts it among the outstanding plants in its collection. Killer Queen is predominantly Indica, photoperiod and regular – the seeds produce male and female plants. Brothers Grimm does not state percentages for Indica share, THC or CBD. You will also find the father line Cinderella 99 in our range.
Who Is Killer Queen For?
Killer Queen is a strain for lovers of fruity classics. It suits:
- Collectors looking for a cult strain with documented provenance and known parents
- Selectors who pick their favourite phenotype from an F1 hybrid
- Hobby breeders who want to carry on working with the male plants of the line
- SCROG growers who spread bushy, heavily branched plants out under a net
- Connoisseurs of tropical fruit aromas from black cherry to fruit punch
It is less suitable if you expect completely uniform plants or exclusively female specimens. You can find more American lines under US Genetics.
Growing Killer Queen: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
For Killer Queen, Brothers Grimm Seeds recommends 56 to 65 days of flowering on a 12/12 schedule, i.e. eight to a good nine weeks; elsewhere the breeder states 60 to 65 days. The plants are predominantly Indica, stretch only a little after the switch and grow bushy and heavily branched. The breeder calls them perfect for SCROG and expressly recommends additional supports. It describes the yield as medium to heavy; it does not give figures in g/m² or a height in centimetres. Because these are regular seeds, you determine the sex in pre-flowering and remove male plants unless you want to breed. You will find the basics on netting and training in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
The breeder gives no information of its own on growing outdoors – neither on height nor on the harvest date or the yield per plant. We therefore do not state any figures. If you grow Killer Queen outdoors, give the bushy plants space and support and choose a sunny, airy location so that the resinous flowers dry off well after rain. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Killer Queen
Brothers Grimm Seeds describes highly potent, resinous flowers with tropical fruit scents and flavours. According to the breeder, the range within the strain extends from black cherry to a note reminiscent of Hawaiian fruit punch; pineapple and mango are also mentioned. The breeder does not give a terpene profile. It describes the effect as cheerful and uplifting, with distinct psychoactive power. Brothers Grimm does not state a THC value in per cent, so we do not add one. With an F1 hybrid from regular seeds, expect individual plants to differ in aroma and strength – that is exactly what makes selection appealing. How strong the effect is in an individual case depends on phenotype, dose and personal tolerance.
