Nicole Hindu Kush 3 seeds

Genetics & Origin of Nicole Hindu Kush

According to White Label, Nicole Hindu Kush descends from strains that were bred to hold their own in a harsh mountain environment. It turns out correspondingly robust: vigorous, uniform plants with dark foliage and strong branching. The strain description does not state a cross formula; the manufacturer's website speaks of Afghan genetics and a ratio of 90% Indica to 10% Sativa. According to the manufacturer, the extra-thick layer of resin glands is characteristic of the traditional high-mountain Indicas from which hashish is made. Because of its Indica background, the strain tends, according to the manufacturer, to produce a lot of THC and at the same time a lot of CBD – White Label does not give percentages. The seeds are feminised and photoperiod. Another strain with Hindu Kush in its name is Hindu Kush Regular by Barney's Farm; as an autoflower there is an Auto Hindu Kush.

Who Is Nicole Hindu Kush For?

Nicole Hindu Kush is an undemanding, resinous Indica with a short flowering time. It suits:

• Beginners looking for a robust and low-maintenance strain
• Experienced growers who want to raise larger plants with a longer vegetative phase
• Growers who value little smell during cultivation
• Hash lovers who appreciate very dense, resinous flowers
• Consumers looking for a relaxing, contemplative effect

It is less suitable for anyone looking for a light, stimulating high – the manufacturer calls the effect very powerful. Other uncomplicated strains are listed under cannabis seeds for beginners.

Growing Nicole Hindu Kush: Indoor & Outdoor

Indoor Growing

White Label gives the flowering time as 7 to 9 weeks. Because the plants gain only moderately in height during flowering, the manufacturer advises anyone aiming for medium-sized to large plants to allow a longer vegetative phase: the plants should have reached about half the desired final size before you switch to 12/12. In typical Indica fashion, the flowers sit clustered at the nodes, stack up into large, hard buds and take on a silvery resin sheen in the final weeks. In this way, according to White Label, compact plants deliver more than considerably larger Sativa-leaning hybrids; a little extra care is said to be needed for the full yield. The manufacturer does not state figures in g/m². The Growpedia covers the basics.

Outdoor Growing

Outdoors, according to the manufacturer, Nicole Hindu Kush can be grown in a normal warm summer; as the climate, White Label names temperate to continental. Details on height, harvest month and yield per plant are missing. Towards the end of flowering, the calyxes can take on purple and blue tones. The very dense flowers should be checked regularly in damp weather; an airy, sunny spot helps. Only grow where it is legal to do so.

Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Nicole Hindu Kush

During cultivation, according to White Label, Nicole Hindu Kush smells only a little. It is only the dried flowers that unfold a rich, complex aroma of sweet sandalwood with notes of incense and lemongrass. The manufacturer does not state a lab terpene profile. The effect is most often described as relaxing, contemplative, euphoric and above all as very powerful. White Label expressly recommends that inexperienced consumers try the strain only in moderation, and advises even connoisseurs with a high tolerance to be careful on first contact. There are no specific THC or CBD values, only the reference to high amounts of both cannabinoids. How intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
