NLX x Courtesy Regular – Sweet F1 with Around 54 Days Flowering
What is NLX x Courtesy? NLX x Courtesy by Helvetic Seeds is a regular, photoperiod F1 cross with 70% Indica and 30% Sativa. It flowers for about 54 days indoors and, according to the breeder, yields 500 g/m²; outdoors it is ripe at the end of September and delivers up to 600 g per plant. A sweetish smell alongside the spicy NLX scent is typical. With it, Helvetic Seeds wants to pick up where a lost, sweet NLX from Switzerland left off. The seeds produce male and female plants – in the regular seeds category. Available in packs of 5, 10, 25 and 100 seeds.

Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of NLX x Courtesy
According to Helvetic Seeds, the starting point was an NLX that was in circulation in Switzerland some years ago and had a sweet Skunk flavour – genetics that were lost. With Courtesy, the breeder tried to develop a similarly sweet NLX again; NLX x Courtesy is the F1 cross that came out of this. Helvetic Seeds gives 70% Indica and 30% Sativa and sees the strain as a further attempt to revive old-school genetics. It grows like an NLX but is ready for harvest a week earlier. The seeds are regular and photoperiod: they produce male and female plants, which makes the strain interesting for selection and your own crosses. The breeder does not state a THC or CBD value. You will find both parent lines in our range: NLX and Courtesy as Courtesy F2 Regular.
Who Is NLX x Courtesy For?
NLX x Courtesy combines classic genetics with a short flowering time. It suits:
- Lovers of old-school genetics with a spicy NLX character
- Selectors who want to choose a mother plant from regular seeds
- Hobby breeders who use male plants for their own crosses
- Indoor growers who plan for around 54 days of flowering
- Outdoor gardeners who would like to harvest as early as the end of September
If you want only female plants without any selection work, a feminised strain is the better choice. You can find more regular lines under Classics and Landraces.
Growing NLX x Courtesy: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Indoors, according to Helvetic Seeds, NLX x Courtesy flowers for about 54 days, i.e. just under eight weeks; the breeder gives the yield as 500 g/m². In its growth it resembles an NLX but is ready for harvest a week earlier. Helvetic Seeds does not state a height; in the shop, the strain is placed in the 60 to 110 cm class for indoors, which should be understood only as an approximation. As these are regular seeds, it is best to germinate more seeds than the number of plants you want to keep and determine the sex in pre-flowering; male plants are removed unless pollination is wanted. You will find the basics on this in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, according to the breeder, NLX x Courtesy is ready for harvest at the end of September and delivers up to 600 g per plant. The early ripening is an advantage in regions where autumn quickly turns damp. In the shop, the strain is placed in the height class of over 220 cm for outdoors – an approximation, but one that shows you should allow plenty of space. Outdoors, too, male plants must be identified in good time. You can find more strains under regular outdoor seeds. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of NLX x Courtesy
Helvetic Seeds describes the smell as sweetish, combined with the typically spicy NLX scent – exactly this combination was the breeding goal. The model was an NLX with a sweet Skunk flavour. The breeder does not state a lab terpene profile. Helvetic Seeds gives no information on the effect, and the breeder does not give a THC value either; in the shop, the strain is rated in the class of over 19% THC, which should be understood only as an approximation. So we deliberately do not add a description of the effect. With regular seeds you should also expect differences between individual plants. How the effect turns out in each case depends on phenotype, harvest time, dose and individual tolerance.
Note: Effect information is based on manufacturer data and user experience and does not constitute medical advice.
