Genetics & Origin of OG Lemon Bilbo
For OG Lemon Bilbo, Genehtik Seeds crossed the well-known OG Kush Lemon Larry from California with a stable Afghani plant of its own. The result is an Indica which, according to the breeder, fully preserves the traits of the OG Kush mother – above all the lemon flavour of Lemon Larry. The branches grow close to the stem, and the flower clusters become long and carry a striking number of long flower hairs. Genehtik states no percentage for Indica and Sativa, and no THC or CBD value. The seeds are feminised and photoperiod, so flowering only begins after the light cycle is switched. You will find the OG line itself in our range in the form of OG Kush, for example; Gorila Bilbo also comes from the Genehtik catalogue.
Who Is OG Lemon Bilbo For?
OG Lemon Bilbo is a medium-height, productive Indica with a citrus profile. It suits:
- Growers who work with many small plants in a Sea of Green
- Outdoor gardeners who are after large harvests per plant
- Growers in damper locations looking for a fungus-resistant strain
- Lovers of lemon Kush with earthy, mossy depth
- Consumers who appreciate a classic, relaxing Indica effect
If you are looking for a stimulating daytime strain, you will not find it here: according to the breeder, the effect is narcotic. You can find more strains with a short flowering time under High Yield & Short Flowering.
Growing OG Lemon Bilbo: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Indoors, OG Lemon Bilbo flowers for 60 to 65 days and, according to Genehtik Seeds, yields 400 to 450 g/m². The breeder describes it as a medium-height Indica and recommends it without reservation for the Sea of Green; as the branches stay close to the stem, the individual plants need little room widthways. In flowering, long flower clusters form with many long, white flower hairs and a strong citrus scent. The manufacturer does not state a height in centimetres. As a particular advantage it highlights the resistance to fungal infections. You will find the basics on growing methods and climate in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, Genehtik Seeds states 1,000 to 1,300 g per plant; in the northern hemisphere, harvest is in October. The breeder does not give a plant height for outdoors. The resistance to fungal infections is a plus in autumn; nevertheless, plants with such yields need a sunny spot, plenty of root space and supports for the long flower clusters. You can find more strains for open ground under outdoor seeds. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Terpenes of OG Lemon Bilbo
Genehtik Seeds describes the smell and flavour of OG Lemon Bilbo as earthy and mossy, fused with lemon – the lemon note of Lemon Larry is in the foreground here, and even the flowers smell strongly of citrus. The strain is considered rich in limonene; no lab terpene profile is given. The breeder calls the effect relaxing and narcotic, just as you would expect from a classic Indica. Genehtik does not give a THC value, which is why there is no figure here. The strain is better suited to switching off than to active hours. How intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
