Passion Fruit 3 seeds
Passion Fruit Seeds – Fruity Hybrid by Dutch Passion
What is Passion Fruit? Passion Fruit by Dutch Passion is a feminised, photoperiod Indica/Sativa hybrid of Sweet Pink Grapefruit × Orange Bud. According to the manufacturer, it flowers for 8 weeks and delivers XXL-class yields; the THC content is given as up to about 20%. The name comes from the intense fruit smell and the surprisingly sweet flavour which, as Dutch Passion tells it, already won over its own test team. The breeder does not state figures for height or yield. A strain for anyone who wants to combine aroma and a short flowering time – in the High Yield & Short Flowering category. Available in packs of 3 and 10 seeds.

Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Passion Fruit
Passion Fruit began with a cutting: through a friend in Belgium, Dutch Passion's breeding team obtained the clone of a Sweet Pink Grapefruit mother plant, which the breeder counts among the fruitiest finds in a long time. According to Dutch Passion, the yields of this plant were already good. It was then crossed with an original Orange Bud clone – with the result that, according to the breeder, the yield went up a level and both the fruit smell and the sweetness were retained. Passion Fruit is listed as an Indica/Sativa hybrid without a percentage figure. The THC content is given as up to about 20%; a CBD value is not given. The seeds are feminised and photoperiod. You will also find an Orange Bud line in our range with Orange Bud 2.0.
Who Is Passion Fruit For?
Passion Fruit is a strain for aroma fans. It suits:
- Lovers of distinctly fruity, sweet strains
- Growers who would like to harvest after 8 weeks of flowering
- Yield-focused gardeners who rely on the breeder's XXL rating
- Fans of Orange Bud and Grapefruit lines
- Consumers for whom flavour is more important than a maximum THC value
If you need precise details on plant height and harvest quantity in advance, you will not find them with this strain and are better served by a more precisely documented strain. You can find more hybrids under best feminised seeds.
Growing Passion Fruit: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Dutch Passion gives the flowering time as 8 weeks and rates the yield as XXL. The manufacturer does not state a figure in g/m², nor a plant height or a preferred growing method – we do not add any estimates on this. As it is a photoperiod strain, you determine the size yourself via the length of the vegetative phase before you switch to 12/12. Because of the strong fruit smell, an activated carbon filter makes sense, and heavy flower clusters appreciate a support or a net. Make sure there is good air movement in the final weeks. You will find the basics on climate, light and training in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Passion Fruit is designated for growing indoors as well as outdoors. For open ground, the manufacturer states neither a harvest month nor a plant height or a yield per plant. At 8 weeks, the flowering time is comparatively short; a sunny, sheltered spot remains the basis for the flowers to ripen dry. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Passion Fruit
Smell and flavour are what Passion Fruit was bred for. Dutch Passion writes that its own test team was downright overwhelmed by the scent and aroma; you can smell and taste where the strain gets its name from. The flavour turns out surprisingly sweet, the smell very fruity. The manufacturer does not state a lab terpene profile. Dutch Passion also gives no information on the type of effect, which is why we do not promise any effect here. The THC content is given as up to about 20% – this makes Passion Fruit a strong strain for which a cautious first dose is advisable. How intense the effect is depends on dose and personal tolerance.
Note: Effect information is based on manufacturer data and user experience and does not constitute medical advice.
