Genetics & Origin of Peach Sherbert OG
Peach Sherbert OG combines Falcon 9 with the in-house Peach Ozz from Perfect Tree Seeds; for the cross, the breeder used a reversed Peach Ozz, by its own account. Falcon 9 comes from Exotic Genetix and, according to Perfect Tree, carries the traits of Sunset Sherbert with a touch of OG. The breeder lists the result as an Indica-dominant hybrid without a percentage. It describes a vigorous, tall-growing plant with thick, sticky and very resinous flowers that can take on dark purple tones. The seeds are feminised and photoperiod. Perfect Tree does not state THC and CBD values. For the strain, the breeder cites a second place in the Extract category at the Canna French Cup 2022. Peach Ozz is also in sister strains such as Kush Mints x Peach Ozz.
Who Is Peach Sherbert OG For?
Peach Sherbert OG is a resin strain with vigorous growth. It suits:
- Hash makers looking for resinous flowers for ice-water extraction
- Fans of OG and gas aromas
- Growers with enough room height for tall-growing plants
- Indoor gardeners who plan for 8 to 9 weeks of flowering
- Consumers who prefer a powerful Indica effect
The tall-growing strain is less suitable for very low grow rooms, and if you are looking for a stimulating daytime strain, Sativa-leaning genetics are the better choice. You can find more strains for the grow room under feminised indoor seeds.
Growing Peach Sherbert OG: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Perfect Tree gives the flowering time as 8 to 9 weeks, and elsewhere as 9 weeks – so it is better to plan for a full nine. The yield is described as medium to high and, according to the breeder, depends on the grower's skill; it does not state a figure in g/m². The strain grows tall, but there is no figure in centimetres. Perfect Tree recommends topping the plants once or twice before flowering. The thick, sticky flowers need good air movement in the final weeks, and because of the gassy aroma a carbon filter makes sense. You will find the basics on training in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
In the shop, Peach Sherbert OG is listed for growing both indoors and outdoors. Perfect Tree gives no information on harvest time, height and yield per plant outdoors. Because the plants grow tall, outdoors they need space, a sunny spot sheltered from the wind and, if necessary, supports for the heavy flowers. You can find more strains under feminised outdoor seeds. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Peach Sherbert OG
Perfect Tree describes the aroma as a fresh OG note with gas; overall, the breeder speaks of exceptionally strong aromas. The manufacturer does not state a lab terpene profile. It sums up the effect briefly as a powerful Indica vibe and does not give a THC value. Perfect Tree particularly highlights the resin: the flowers are thick, sticky and heavily covered in trichomes and are said to be suitable for terpene-rich ice-water extracts. This fits with the second place in the Extract category at the Canna French Cup 2022, which the breeder cites for the strain. Extracts are considerably more concentrated than flowers and should be dosed with corresponding caution. How intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
