What is Permanent Oz? Permanent Oz by LIT Farms is a feminised, photoperiod hybrid of OZ Kush × Permanent Marker. The ratio is given as 60% Indica and 40% Sativa, the flowering time as around nine weeks after the switch to 12/12. For the aroma, citrus and pine notes are consistently named. Values for THC content, height, yield and outdoor harvest time are not reliably stated, so we do not give any figures for them. Genetics & Origin of Permanent Oz
Permanent Oz comes from LIT Farms, a breeder from the USA, and crosses OZ Kush with Permanent Marker. Beyond this lineage, no strain data is available from the breeder; all further key data should accordingly be read with caution. A ratio of 60% Indica to 40% Sativa is given, which makes the strain a slightly Indica-dominant hybrid. Nothing is stated about the THC and CBD content. The seeds are feminised and photoperiod: the plants only flower once the light cycle is switched to 12/12. If you are interested in the parent lines, you will find OZ Kush in the cross OZ Kush x Coffin Candy Regular by Doja and Permanent Marker as an autoflower in Auto Permanent Marker XL by Sweet Seeds. From LIT Farms itself we stock Lit Marker, among others.
Who Is Permanent Oz For?
Permanent Oz is a US cross with a clear lineage but few confirmed key data. It suits:
- Collectors of current US genetics from LIT Farms
- Growers who plan for around nine weeks of flowering and judge ripeness by the trichomes
- Lovers of aromas with citrus and pine notes
- Fans of slightly Indica-dominant hybrids
- Growers who compare several plants and choose their favourite themselves
The strain is less suitable if you need fixed figures for THC content, height or yield in advance – they are not reliably stated. You can find strains with more detailed data under feminised seeds.
Growing Permanent Oz: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
The flowering time of Permanent Oz is given as around nine weeks after the switch to 12/12; the ranges run from eight to ten weeks. No height figure is available. So watch the stretch in the first weeks of flowering and step in with training if necessary. There are no consistent figures for yield either: the figures are so far apart that we deliberately do not state a value in g/m². The safest way to determine the harvest time is by the trichomes. A carbon filter makes sense against the smell during flowering. You will find the basics on climate, light and training in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
For open ground there is no consistent information on harvest time, so we do not name a date. Choose a sunny, sheltered spot and read ripeness from the trichomes outdoors too. How tall the plants grow outdoors and how much they yield per plant is likewise not reliably stated. You can find more strains for the garden under outdoor strains. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Permanent Oz
There is only a little consistent information on the aroma of Permanent Oz: citrus and pine notes are named. Beyond that, the descriptions vary and in part refer to the parent strains, which is why we do not commit to any further notes. No lab terpene profile is stated. Nor is there any reliable information on the effect or the THC content – we deliberately do not add any estimates here. All that is stated is the classification as a hybrid with slightly more Indica than Sativa. Be careful the first time you try it and feel your way slowly. How intense the effect is depends on phenotype, harvest time, dose and individual tolerance.
Note: Effect information is based on manufacturer data and user experience and does not constitute medical advice.
