Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Pie Piss
Pie Piss is a four-way cross from the catalogue of the US brand Cookies: (San Diego Cat Piss × Moonbow) × (Cherry Pie × Planet Purple). According to the breeder, Moonbow is in the family trees of both parental sides; added to this are Cat Piss and Cherry Pie, two lines that Cookies describes as rare and legendary. According to the manufacturer, you will find profiles of all three grandparent lines in the offspring – so there is plenty of room to make a selection of your own. Cookies lists the strain simply as a hybrid; the breeder does not state an Indica/Sativa ratio. The THC content is given as over 20%, the CBD content as low. The seeds are feminised and photoperiod, so flowering only begins after the light cycle is switched. A Cherry Pie from another breeder is available individually in our range: Cherry Pie by Royal Queen Seeds.
Who Is Pie Piss For?
Pie Piss is aimed at growers looking for variety in a single pack. It suits:
- Selectors looking for their favourite among several phenotypes
- Fans of US genetics from the house of Cookies
- Indoor growers who plan for 8 to 9 weeks of flowering
- Outdoor gardeners for whom 450 to 500 g per plant is enough
- Consumers who like earthy aromas with cherry and citrus
It is less suitable if you expect completely uniform plants – the breeder expressly holds out the prospect of different profiles. You can find more strains of this type under feminised seeds.
Growing Pie Piss: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Indoors, Cookies expects 8 to 9 weeks of flowering and 400 to 450 g/m². As the strain is photoperiod, you determine the length of the vegetative phase yourself and initiate flowering with 12/12. The breeder gives no figure for plant height; so leave some headroom on your first run and watch how strongly the individual plants stretch. Because, according to the manufacturer, different profiles show up, it is worth labelling the plants and taking a cutting from each specimen before flowering – that way your favourite is preserved. Good air movement and a carbon filter are part of the basic equipment. You can read more about climate and training in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
For open ground, Cookies states 450 to 500 g per plant. The breeder does not give a harvest date or a height for outdoors. Here too, the flowering time of 8 to 9 weeks serves only as a guide: read ripeness from the trichomes rather than from the calendar and choose a sunny spot sheltered from the wind. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Pie Piss
Cookies itself says nothing about aroma and effect; the breeder merely points to the variety of profiles. The scent of Pie Piss is described as earthy and sweet-fruity: cherry is in the foreground, accompanied by citrus notes and a slight acidity. With a four-way cross, this can vary from plant to plant. The manufacturer does not state a lab terpene profile. The effect is given as two-stage – initially euphoric and activating, later increasingly relaxing. The THC content is given as over 20%, and Cookies does not publish a figure of its own; the CBD content is considered low. This makes Pie Piss a strong strain. How intense the effect is depends on dose and personal tolerance.
Note: Effect information is based on manufacturer data and user experience and does not constitute medical advice.
