Sensi Skunk 10 seeds
Sensi Skunk Seeds – Citrus Skunk Classic by Sensi Seeds
What is Sensi Skunk? Sensi Skunk by Sensi Seeds is a feminised, photoperiod Skunk hybrid with 80% Indica, created from Skunk #1 and a particularly sweet mother plant that has been kept secret. The breeder released the strain in 1991; it flowers for 45 to 50 days, grows to an average height and, according to the manufacturer, delivers a large yield. Thick, sticky flowers and a sugary citrus scent that stands out from the usual Skunk smell are typical. Sensi Seeds gives no figures for THC and yield. The strain suits Skunk fans and friends of short flowering times – in the Classics and Landraces category. Available in packs of 3, 5, 10 and 25 seeds.

Genetics & Origin of Sensi Skunk
According to Sensi Seeds, Sensi Skunk was the third strain the breeder released in 1991 to celebrate its expanded gene library. The breeding goal: a very potent Skunk hybrid that is recognisably different from the Skunks known until then and can nevertheless match the quality and performance of Skunk #1. To achieve this, the breeders crossed Skunk #1 with a secret, super-sweet mother plant of exceptional potency. The result is a uniform, reliable strain with 80% Indica that forms larger calyxes and shorter pistils than Skunk #1 and is very sticky. Sensi Seeds lists it as a Cannabis Cup winner, without naming a year or category. The seeds are feminised and photoperiod. You will find the original line, for instance, as Skunk #1 by Barney's Farm.
Who Is Sensi Skunk For?
Sensi Skunk is a Skunk classic with a very short flowering time. It suits:
- Skunk fans looking for a sweeter, citrus-accented variant
- Growers who want to harvest quickly with 45 to 50 days of flowering
- Gardeners with a greenhouse or an indoor set-up
- Collectors of classic Sensi Seeds genetics from the early 1990s
- Consumers who prefer potent, Indica-leaning strains
It is less suitable for unprotected outdoor growing in northern latitudes, because the manufacturer only recommends the garden below 42° northern latitude. You can find more Indica-dominant strains under Indica strains.
Growing Sensi Skunk: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Under lamps, according to Sensi Seeds, Sensi Skunk grows splendidly. The flowering time is just 45 to 50 days; during this time the strain forms thick, sticky buds. The breeder describes the height growth as average and the yield as large – it gives no figures in centimetres or g/m². The uniform growth pattern and the reliability of the line are highlighted, which favours a homogeneous crop. Sensi Seeds gives no training recommendations. Because of the strong scent a carbon filter is worthwhile, and good air movement keeps the thick flowers dry. As the strain is photoperiod, you initiate flowering by switching to 12/12. You will find the basics on lighting and climate in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Besides indoor growing, Sensi Seeds recommends the strain for the greenhouse. According to the manufacturer, it thrives in the garden below 42° northern latitude, i.e. in southern European locations; the fact sheet gives the climate as temperate to continental. In more northerly regions, the greenhouse is therefore the safer choice. The breeder does not state a harvest time, an outdoor height or a yield per plant. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Sensi Skunk
According to Sensi Seeds, European Skunk variants are considered sweeter and less sharp in flavour than their North American sisters. It was exactly this trait that the breeder wanted to continue with Sensi Skunk: its hallmark is a sugary citrus scent that clearly stands out from the usual "Skunk funk"; a classic Skunk aroma with a sweet citrus flavour is also described. The manufacturer does not give a lab terpene profile. On the effect, the manufacturer only says that the strain is potent enough to surprise even hardened consumers; elsewhere there is mention of a strong, relaxing high. Sensi Seeds does not state a THC value – so we do not add an estimate. How intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
Note: Effect information is based on manufacturer data and user experience and does not constitute medical advice.
