Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Spicy White Devil
Spicy White Devil is a cross of Jack Herer and the original Blueberry of the late 1970s. Samsara Seeds sums up the idea like this: Jack Herer power with the aroma and resin of Blueberry. The genetics consist of 65% Sativa and 35% Indica; the THC content is given as 21%, a CBD value is not. The seeds are feminised and photoperiod, so flowering only begins after the switch to 12/12. The resin production is striking: with optimal cultivation, according to the manufacturer, trichomes cover even large leaves and side shoots. If you would like to get to know the original strains individually, you will find Jack Herer by Sensi Seeds and Blueberry by Dutch Passion in our range – whether Samsara Seeds used exactly these lines is not clear from the strain description.
Who Is Spicy White Devil For?
Spicy White Devil combines a creative Sativa effect with a sweet berry aroma. It suits:
- Lovers of Blueberry aromas with a sweet aftertaste
- Fans of Jack Herer hybrids with a euphoric, creative effect
- Indoor growers who prefer compact, vigorous plants and plan for 60 to 70 days of flowering
- Outdoor gardeners in warm, dry climate zones who can harvest in mid October
- Fans of extracts and hash who value plenty of resin
The strain is less suitable for damp autumn locations, as the manufacturer gives the mould and pest resistance only as moderate. You can find more strong strains under seeds with top THC content.
Growing Spicy White Devil: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Indoors, Spicy White Devil flowers for 60 to 70 days after the switch to 12/12. Samsara Seeds states a yield of up to 500 g/m² and describes the growth as compact and vigorous – a good fit for controlled environments. The manufacturer does not give a height in centimetres. Because the resistance to mould is rated only as moderate, it is worth paying attention to good air movement and low humidity in late flowering. The heavy resin coverage, which under optimal conditions extends right down to the large leaves, makes the trim interesting too. You will find the basics on climate and training in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, according to the manufacturer, harvest falls in mid October, and the yield is up to 900 g per plant. Warm, dry climate zones are ideal, because Samsara Seeds gives the mould and pest resistance only as moderate. In regions with a damp autumn, rain protection or a greenhouse makes sense. The breeder does not state a plant height for outdoors. You can find more strains under outdoor seeds. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Spicy White Devil
The scent of Spicy White Devil is fruity-sweet with an intense berry aroma; Samsara Seeds describes the flavour as pure Blueberry with a sweet aftertaste. The manufacturer speaks of a special terpene profile but names neither individual terpenes nor lab values. The effect is said to combine the best of both sides: creative, euphoric and long-lasting in typical Sativa fashion, plus the deeply relaxing side of a strong Indica. Samsara calls the high creative and relaxing at the same time. Added to this is the dense resin coverage, which with optimal cultivation also covers large leaves and side shoots. The THC content is given as 21%, and the breeder does not state a CBD value. How intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
