Genetics & Origin of Spritz
Spritz goes back to two well-known lines: a Mimosa phenotype from Perfect Tree's own selection, which the breeder calls a cup winner, and the likewise award-winning Jet A by Exotic Genetix, which was used reversed for this cross, i.e. as the pollen donor. Perfect Tree lists the strain simply as a hybrid; an Indica-Sativa ratio is not stated. The seeds of this item are feminised and photoperiod. According to the breeder, the offspring of the feminised version turn out markedly different from those of the regular Spritz – if you would like to compare or do your own selecting, you will also find Spritz Regular in our range. The THC content is given as high; an exact lab value is not available, nor is a CBD value.
Who Is Spritz For?
Spritz is a resinous strain with a short flowering time and a pronounced orange profile. It suits:
- Growers who grow flowers for solventless extraction
- Terpene lovers with a fondness for orange and red berries
- Indoor growers who want to harvest after 7 to 8 weeks of flowering
- Fans of the Mimosa line looking for a new cross
- Consumers who prefer a clear, stimulating effect
If you are mainly looking for physical calm in the evening or need binding yield figures, you are better served by a different strain. You can find more feminised lines for the grow room under indoor strains.
Growing Spritz: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Perfect Tree Seeds gives the flowering time as 7 to 8 weeks and rates the yield as high. The breeder describes lively, vigorously growing plants that form massive, terpene-rich colas. The plant height is given as medium, and a figure in centimetres is not available; no reliable value in g/m² is stated for the yield either. Heavy main flowers should be supported in good time, and good air movement keeps the dense colas dry. If you want to extract, time the harvest by the state of the trichomes – according to the breeder, resin production is very high. You will find the basics on climate and training in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, the harvest is given as October. There are no reliable figures for height and yield per plant; the breeder merely states a high yield. Outdoors, the massive colas need a sunny, airy spot and special attention in damp autumn weeks. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Spritz
According to Perfect Tree Seeds, the terpene profile of Spritz is defined by orange candy and subtle hints of red berries. Together with the Jet A side, it reminds the breeder of the bittersweet character of the well-known Italian aperitif. In addition, a diesel or petrol note is given for the flavour. Individual terpenes are not named. Resin production is very high: according to the breeder, the hash can melt completely and reach six-star quality. A description of the effect by the breeder is not available; what is stated is a clear, cerebral and stimulating effect. The THC content is considered high; an exact figure is missing. How intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
