The seeds are feminised and photoperiod. If you would like to compare, you will find Super Silver Haze by Green House Seeds in our range, as well as the parent line Northern Light by Nirvana.
Who Is Super Silver Haze For?
Super Silver Haze is a demanding Haze. It suits:
- Experienced growers who can confidently see a long Haze flowering period through
- Indoor growers with ceiling height and practice in training tall plants
- Gardeners in regions with warm, long summers
- Haze lovers looking for sweet and sour citrus aromas
- Consumers who appreciate an energetic, cerebral high
It is less suitable for beginners: the manufacturer rates growing it as difficult, and outdoors it is only finished at the end of October to the beginning of November. You can find more potent strains under Super High THC Content.
Growing Super Silver Haze: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Nirvana's data sheet states a flowering time of 9 to 11 weeks, while elsewhere the manufacturer speaks of at most 70 days. So plan for the longer period and decide based on the trichomes. The manufacturer gives the yield as 500 to 600 g/m². The plants grow tall; there is no figure in centimetres for indoors. Nirvana recommends good training to keep the typical Haze growth under control and rates growing it as difficult. You will find the basics on training techniques in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, according to the manufacturer, Super Silver Haze grows 180 to 200 cm tall and is suitable for warm, long summers. According to Nirvana, harvest falls at the end of October to the beginning of November – which is late for cool, damp autumn locations. Nirvana states a yield of 1,200 g per plant. A greenhouse or a very sheltered spot provides additional security. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Terpenes of Super Silver Haze
Super Silver Haze has a sweet and sour, typical Haze scent; Nirvana describes an intense citrus and lemon note with a slightly sour and earthy touch, and a fruity, sour flavour with spicy Haze notes. The manufacturer names myrcene, caryophyllene and limonene as terpenes. It describes the effect as a clear, energetic and cerebral high with a slightly stony touch. With 20 to 24% THC, the strain is strong; according to the data sheet, the CBD content is 0.1 to 1%. If you are sensitive to strong Sativas, start with small amounts. How intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
