Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Supreme Lemon
Supreme Lemon is a cross of Super Silver Haze and Lemon Skunk from the Vision Seeds catalogue. The genetics consist of 70% Sativa and 30% Indica. The breeder describes Sativa growth with generous stretch that demands plenty of space and light. Vision Seeds gives the THC content as 21% and describes the CBD share as negligible. As special features the manufacturer lists an extremely fresh terpene profile and high productivity; according to its information, the lemon scent is reminiscent of candied fruit. The seeds are feminised and photoperiod, so flowering only begins after the switch to 12/12. You will find both parent strains in the shop from other breeders: Super Silver Haze by Green House Seeds and Lemon Skunk by Royal Queen Seeds.
Who Is Supreme Lemon For?
Supreme Lemon is a lemony Sativa hybrid with a powerful effect. It suits:
- Sativa lovers looking for a strong, invigorating and creative high
- Fans of pronounced lemon aromas with a Haze note
- Indoor growers with high rooms and strong lighting
- Patient gardeners who plan for about 10 weeks of flowering
- Outdoor growers with space for plants up to 180 cm and harvest in October
It is less suitable for low grow boxes and poorly lit rooms, because according to the manufacturer the stretch is generous. You can find strains with a different focus under Indica strains.
Growing Supreme Lemon: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
In the grow room, Supreme Lemon needs about 10 weeks to harvest after the switch to 12/12. Vision Seeds gives the height as 100 cm and more and states a yield of up to 500 g/m². The decisive point is the breeder's note on the Sativa growth with generous stretch: the plants need plenty of space and light. It is therefore worth not sending them into flower too late and keeping the shoots flat with a net or by tying them down – the manufacturer does not name specific training methods, however. A carbon filter makes sense for the intense citrus smell. You will find the basics on plant training in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, according to Vision Seeds, Supreme Lemon grows up to 180 cm tall and yields up to 1,000 g per plant. Harvest falls in October; the manufacturer does not state a more precise time. With around 10 weeks of flowering, the strain needs a long autumn that is as dry as possible – a spot in full sun and sheltered from the wind, or a greenhouse, offers the best conditions for this. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Supreme Lemon
Supreme Lemon smells fresh and lemony with a sweet-and-sour candy note; Vision Seeds compares the smell to candied fruit. In the flavour, candied lemon meets Haze – lively, intense and, according to the manufacturer, noticeable on the tongue for a long time. The breeder speaks of one of the most lemony profiles on the market but names neither individual terpenes nor lab values for it. It describes the effect as energetic, creativity-enhancing and cheering: a strong, invigorating high that stimulates the mind and puts you in a good mood. At 21% THC with negligible CBD the strain is potent. Dose cautiously if you are not used to Sativas of this strength – how intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
