Its scent is reminiscent of tropical fruit salad with powerful Zkittlez notes, plus plenty of resin and bright colours. Male and female plants grow from regular seeds. Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Tropizai
Tropizai comes from Perfect Tree. The mother was a Tropicanna Cherry cutting from Relentless Genetics selected by the breeder, which was pollinated with a Zaïzaï male from its own breeding. In the data sheet, Perfect Tree deviates and names Yahemi × Zaï Zaï. The seeds are regular: male and female plants grow from a pack, which makes selection and your own breeding projects possible. The individual plants can differ markedly from one another in aroma and flower colour. Perfect Tree highlights the very good resin production and the bright flower colours and describes the strain as high-yielding. The manufacturer does not state an Indica/Sativa proportion or a THC or CBD value. If you are interested in the father's side: you will find the Zaïzaï line with us as ZaiZai Regular by Perfect Tree.
Who Is Tropizai For?
Tropizai is a strain with a focus on aroma and resin. It suits:
- Selectors looking for a mother plant of their own from regular seeds
- Hobby breeders who want to carry on working with Zaïzaï genetics
- Lovers of sweet, tropical fruit aromas with a candy note
- Growers who value resinous, colourful flowers
- Experienced growers with 8 to 9 weeks of space in the flowering tent
It is not very suitable if you only want female plants without selection or need fixed information on THC and height. You can find more strains under regular cannabis seeds.
Growing Tropizai: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
After the switch to 12/12, Tropizai needs 8 to 9 weeks until full maturity, according to Perfect Tree. The breeder classes the yield as medium to high; there is no figure in g/m², nor a plant height. As these are regular seeds, it is best to germinate more seeds than you have spaces, determine the sex in pre-flowering and remove male plants if you do not want pollination. With a strongly scented strain like this one, an activated carbon filter makes sense. You will find the basics in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
The manufacturer gives no information for outdoors: harvest month, height and yield per plant are not stated. As a photoperiod strain, Tropizai only starts to flower when the days get shorter. Choose a sunny, sheltered spot and expect the individual plants from regular seeds to develop differently. Resinous flowers benefit from good air movement outdoors. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Tropizai
The strength of Tropizai lies in its aroma. Perfect Tree describes the flavour as tropical fruit salad with intense Zkittlez notes. A sweetness reminiscent of fresh sugar cane juice and fruit sweets is also mentioned. According to the breeder, the flowers are very resinous and show bright colours, which can vary from plant to plant. The manufacturer does not give a lab terpene profile. Perfect Tree describes the effect succinctly as strong; there is no more detailed effect profile and no THC value. How strongly Tropizai acts in an individual case depends on the phenotype, the harvest time, the dose and your tolerance.
