Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Warlock
Warlock is a classic with a history: the strain goes back to Magus Genetics and is now carried on by Serious Seeds. Afghani and Skunk were crossed. The result is Indica-dominant, grows compact and bushy and forms large, dense buds with few leaves during flowering – the strain description highlights this relationship between growth structure and flower density as a special feature. It also calls Warlock award-winning and decorated several times, but does not list any individual awards. Exact Indica and Sativa shares are missing, as is a THC value in percent; the content is given as high, and no CBD value is given. The seeds are regular and photoperiod: they produce male and female plants, which makes the strain interesting for selection and your own crosses. If you only want female plants, you will also find the feminised Warlock in our range.
Who Is Warlock For?
Warlock combines compact growth with an unusually clear high. It suits:
- Aroma lovers who like sweet-and-sour fruity notes with a hint of Skunk
- Extract fans who make rosin or other solventless extracts
- Indoor growers looking for compact plants with little trimming work
- Hobby breeders and selectors who need male and female plants
- Consumers who prefer a clear, creative high despite Indica dominance
If you expect a heavy, body-focused Indica effect or want to manage without sexing, Warlock Regular is less well suited to you. You can find more regular strains with tradition under Classics and Landraces.
Growing Warlock: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
The strain description gives Warlock a flowering time of 55 to 60 days and a medium to high yield; it does not give a figure in g/m². The plants stay compact and bushy and are therefore considered suitable for indoor setups. The flower structure is practical: the medium-sized leaves are overgrown by an abundance of compact buds, so the plants are easy to manicure. Ripening flowers change colour from white to a delicate pink. As the seeds are regular, you should germinate more seeds than the number of plants you want to keep, determine the sex in pre-flowering and remove male plants if pollination is not wanted. You will find the basics on this in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, according to the strain description, Warlock is harvested in October; it does not give a more precise time, the plant height or a yield per plant. Thanks to its robust Skunk genetics, the strain is considered suitable for temperate climate zones. A sunny, airy spot helps keep the dense flowers dry in autumn. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Warlock
Warlock smells intensely sweet and slightly sour; the strain description compares the aroma to fresh fruit. In the flavour, a Skunk note joins the fruity freshness. Because the strain is so aromatic, it is popular for rosin and other solventless extracts. The manufacturer does not give a lab terpene profile. The effect is remarkable: despite the Indica emphasis, it is described as distinctly cerebral – clear, creative, invigorating and long-lasting, accompanied by subtle physical relaxation. The THC content is given as high; a percentage is missing. With regular seeds, individual plants can differ in aroma and effect. How intense the high is also depends on dose and individual tolerance.
Note: Effect information is based on manufacturer data and user experience and does not constitute medical advice.
