Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Warlock
Warlock originally comes from Magus Genetics and is now continued by Serious Seeds. The hybrid of Afghani and Skunk is Indica-dominant; the breeder does not give exact percentages. Serious Seeds highlights the relationship between growth structure and flower density: in the vegetative phase the plant stays compact and bushy, and in flowering it forms large, dense buds with few leaves. Ripening flowers change colour from white to a delicate pink. The manufacturer only describes the THC content as high and does not state a CBD value. The seeds are feminised and photoperiod, so flowering only begins after the light cycle is switched. The breeder describes Warlock as having won several awards, without naming individual prizes. From Serious Seeds we also stock AK-47 and Bubble Gum.
Who Is Warlock For?
Warlock is a compact Indica hybrid with a surprisingly clear effect. It suits:
- Indoor growers looking for a compact, bushy plant
- Anyone who wants little work when manicuring
- Aroma lovers with a preference for sweet and sour fruit notes
- Fans of rosin and other solventless extracts
- Consumers who appreciate a creative, invigorating high
If you mainly expect heavy physical calm from an Indica, you are better served by another strain. You can find more Indica-leaning strains under Indica strains.
Growing Warlock: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Indoors, according to Serious Seeds, Warlock flowers for 55 to 60 days; the breeder describes the yield as medium to high, without a figure in g/m². The plants stay compact and bushy, which makes them a good fit for indoor setups; the manufacturer does not give a height in centimetres. During flowering, the medium-sized leaves are literally overgrown by compact buds, so the plants are easy to manicure. Because of the intense aroma, an activated carbon filter makes sense, and with dense flowers, good air movement helps in the final weeks. If you want to make extracts: the breeder highlights the strain's popularity for rosin. You will find the basics on climate and harvest in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, according to the manufacturer, Warlock is ready for harvest in October; Serious Seeds does not narrow down the timing any further. Thanks to the robust Skunk genetics, the breeder considers the strain suitable for temperate climate zones. A sunny, sheltered spot helps bring the dense flowers to ripeness dry in autumn. The manufacturer does not give figures on height or yield per plant for outdoor growing. You can find more strains for open ground under outdoor seeds. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Warlock
According to Serious Seeds, Warlock smells sweet, slightly sour and fruit-forward – the intense aroma is reminiscent of fresh fruit. In the flavour, a Skunk note joins the fruity freshness. The manufacturer does not give a lab terpene profile. The effect is unusual for an Indica-dominant strain: the breeder describes it as distinctly cerebral, creative, invigorating and long-lasting – a clear head high with only subtle body relaxation. Serious Seeds rates the THC content as high without giving a percentage; the breeder gives no information on CBD either. We therefore deliberately do not add any estimates. How intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
