Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Wedding Slurripie
Three well-known lines come together in Wedding Slurripie. On one side is Slurripie, itself a cross of Slurricane × Georgia Pie, on the other Wedding Cake. Elev8 Seeds gives the hybrid as 80% Indica and 20% Sativa and states a THC content of up to 30%; the breeder does not state a CBD value. The seeds are feminised and photoperiod, so flowering only sets in after the light cycle is switched. As a special feature, the manufacturer highlights the compact, extremely resinous flowers, which it recommends for rosin and other extracts. The strain is also known by the name Wedding Slurricane. If you would like to get to know the parent lines individually, you will find Wedding Cake by Royal Queen Seeds and Slurricane by Anesia Seeds in our range.
Who Is Wedding Slurripie For?
Wedding Slurripie is a very potent dessert hybrid with plenty of resin. It suits:
- Lovers of creamy-sweet strains with a grape and vanilla note
- Extract fans looking for resinous flowers for rosin
- Indoor growers who plan for 8 to 9 weeks of flowering
- Outdoor gardeners whose season lasts until mid October
- Consumers with a high tolerance looking for a strain for the evening
If you prefer mild strains or have little experience with strong cannabis, at up to 30% THC you are better served by weaker genetics. You can find more very potent strains under Super High THC Content.
Growing Wedding Slurripie: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
In the grow room, Wedding Slurripie flowers for 8 to 9 weeks according to Elev8 Seeds. The breeder rates the yield as high without putting a figure on it; 500 to 600 g/m² is given for the strain. The manufacturer gives no information on height. The flowers stay compact and become very resinous – good air movement and controlled humidity in the final weeks help to bring them to ripeness in good health. Because of the strong dessert aroma, a carbon filter makes sense. You will find the basics on climate and training in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, according to the manufacturer, harvest falls in early to mid October. Here too, Elev8 Seeds speaks of a high yield but states neither a figure per plant nor a height. Because ripening extends into autumn, the strain needs a sunny, sheltered spot; you should check dense, resinous flowers regularly in damp autumn weeks. You can find more strains for outdoors under outdoor seeds. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Wedding Slurripie
Aroma and flavour are the strain's calling card: Elev8 Seeds describes the scent as fruity and creamy with notes of grape, vanilla and pastry, the flavour as sweet and velvety with a tropical touch and a cake note. A plum note is also given in addition. The manufacturer does not state a lab terpene profile. According to the breeder, the effect sets in pleasantly mood-lifting and euphoric and then turns into deep physical relaxation without being outright sedating – Elev8 Seeds therefore sees the strain as one for the evening or for winding down after a long day. With up to 30% THC, Wedding Slurripie is one of the very potent strains; dose with corresponding caution. How intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
