Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Zoomiez
For Zoomiez, Anesia Seeds crossed a carefully selected Biscotti Gushers with a Crescendo. The breeder describes both parents as Indica-dominant and extremely potent: Biscotti Gushers contributes a flavour of fresh sweet berries, Crescendo an intense fruity berry aroma. After a long process of selection and further stabilisation, the result, according to the manufacturer, was a strain that combines intense aromas with enormous potency. In the fact sheet, Anesia Seeds lists it with 60% Sativa and 40% Indica, and the breeder gives the THC content as up to 32%; it does not state a CBD value. The seeds are feminised and photoperiod, so flowering only begins after the light cycle is switched. You can find more hybrids of this kind under feminised seeds.
Who Is Zoomiez For?
Zoomiez is a very potent hybrid with a sweet aroma. It suits:
- Experienced growers who can handle strains very rich in THC
- Indoor growers who work in SOG or SCROG
- Outdoor gardeners with space for plants 220 to 270 cm tall
- Lovers of sweet aromas of sweets and candyfloss
- Experienced recreational consumers looking for a stimulating, sociable effect
Because of its very high THC content, Zoomiez is less suitable for a first grow and for consumers with a low tolerance. You can find calmer alternatives under Indica strains.
Growing Zoomiez: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Indoors, according to Anesia Seeds, Zoomiez develops round, very heavy flowers with a thick layer of golden trichomes within 9 to 10 weeks of flowering; the fact sheet states 10 weeks. The plants grown from seed grow solidly and robustly, reach 130 to 150 cm according to the fact sheet and form a strong head bud. The manufacturer states 500 to 550 g/m² and says that the strain can be grown in a SOG as well as in a SCROG system. It describes growing as relatively easy; because of the very high THC content, we nevertheless rate Zoomiez as a strain for experienced growers. The smell is intense during flowering, so a carbon filter makes sense, and the heavy flowers benefit from good air movement. You will find the basics on climate and training in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, according to the fact sheet, Zoomiez grows 220 to 270 cm tall and is ready for harvest in mid-October. Anesia Seeds states 900 to 1,000 g per plant. At this size, the strain needs a lot of space, a sunny, sheltered spot and supports for the heavy shoots. Because harvest is not due until mid-October, a dry autumn is an advantage. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Zoomiez
Anesia Seeds describes the flavour of Zoomiez as very sweet: it is reminiscent of sweets and candyfloss, joined by a light floral note. The breeder speaks of a complex, balanced terpene profile but does not list any individual terpenes. The manufacturer does not state a lab terpene profile. According to the description, the effect sets in quickly and continues to build over time. Anesia Seeds describes feelings of happiness combined with relaxation, later tingling, stimulating effects, a zest for action, creativity and sociability – a high that is cerebral and physical at the same time and is said to last for hours. At up to 32% THC, the manufacturer recommends the strain to experienced recreational consumers. How intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
