More info

It is a selected F1 hybrid between the Afghan indica HashPlant and the male Haze C. This particular old HashPlant Haze cutting offers a final product quite similar to its stepsister C5 Haze, although slightly more indica and with less Thai influence.

HashPlant Haze follows the pattern of Neville's F1 Haze hybrids, which take both the sativa and indica side to the extreme: very vigorous, well-branched plants, forming long, stunning colas (both in volume and flower density), with a powerful and long-lasting hybrid effect. The similarities between the HashPlant Haze and C5 Haze mothers are due to the fact that they share the same Haze C father, and have been observed by our team through cultivation experience, smoke tests and in the laboratory, confirming that both have a very similar chemotype and high content in THC, as well as a common terpenic signature.

HashPlant Haze x Kali China is the first hybrid that ACE Seeds offers this classic clone, which maintains the large size and highly branched sativa structure, the very high yields and the powerful psychoactivity of the original HashPlant Haze, while in this case our highly-worked Kali China contributes its more potent indica hashplant side, enriching the earthy, slightly citrus palate and Moroccan blond pollen of the HashPlant Haze with its complex, incense and organic aromas, creating new ranges of terpene profiles, and slightly reducing flowering to more moderate maturation times, especially in outdoor cultivation.

HashPlant Haze x Kali China differs from C5 Haze x Kali China by more frequently producing more organic, meaty and hashy terpene profiles, and by having a more indica-like touch and effect than its stepsister. Both hybrids are of very similar quality, equally vigorous, productive, powerful, resinous and aromatic. And although some phenotypes may need a few more weeks of flowering than usual, the final yields of both varieties are always very high, and can be truly astounding with proper care and ideal conditions.

Due to the extreme heterosis of the original HashPlant Haze F1 hybrid, this cross with the more stabilized Kali China still produces relatively variable offspring, which allows the grower to find different expressions, making this cross a very interesting option and much more exciting for growers who are easily bored with a single phenotype and who prefer some variability. The high genetic recombination of this polyhybrid also allows the emergence of new and interesting terpene profiles and effects not previously found in its parents.

During the second half of flowering the floral structures clump together forming long and heavy colas, tending to produce strong horn-shaped foxtails during the last weeks of flowering, at which time some specimens can show beautiful purple hues inherited from Kali China. The yield of this balanced sativa/indica Haze hybrid (but on steroids) is far superior to Oldtimer's Haze hybrids and other sativa x Kali China hybrids such as Thai Chi.

HashPlant Haze x Kali China is a new collaborative project with Yo Sammy, a member of the small group of growers from the south of Holland who have preserved Neville's elite Haze clones from the late 1980s to the present day. There is no record that HashPlant Haze has been as widely used in Dutch breeding as NL/Haze was, which adds extra interest to the pedigree of this grand hybrid.

Genetics HashPlant Haze F1 (HashPlant x Haze C) late ‘80s x Kali China elite 4th generation.
Structure Chunky hybrid structure with excellent branching, vigorous and adaptable.
Bouquet Variable aromas and flavours depending on the individual plant, although always refined, complex and intense. Spicy, woody, organic, meaty, sweet, floral and liquor are the most commonly found aromas, with a touch of incense Haze. Very pronounced taste and aftertaste of hashish and bitter fruit (specifically orange marmalade).
High Powerful, complex and long-lasting (4 hours) predominantly indica effect. Hilarious and enjoyable initial effect, developing into a sensually enveloping and psychologically dreamy high, and like a good and strong hashish it develops heavy physical effects, becoming introspective, with a relaxing and narcotic ending that invites you to disconnect and sleep.
Terpene profile Rich and complex profile, both in monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes. It mainly contains the following monoterpenes: very high beta myrcene, moderate amounts of alpha pinene, limonene, beta pinene and linalool, and small amounts of endo fenchyl alcohol, alpha terpineol, ocimene 2 and squalene. Sesquiterpenes: Primarily alpha fernesene, cis beta fernesene, beta fernesene, beta caryophyllene, and guaiol, with small amounts of alpha humulene, valencene, caryophyllene oxide, alpha bisabolol, cedrol, and trans nerolidol.
Growing Tips Indoors, outstanding results can be achieved in terms of quality and production with a correct and abundant feeding and strong light intensity. Very suitable for SOG crops due to its great yield in the main cola, or for SCROG, horizontal or network growing due to its excellent yield in the lateral branches and its vigorous reaction to pruning.

Outdoors, it is a very adaptable plant that can be grown in hot climates, and in climates with a mild start of autumn.

We recommend moderate to high nutrient levels during growth, and high doses during the explosive flowering period, and also giving nitrogen until practically the end of flowering.
