Terms of Business
Linguistic validity
You can view this page in several languages. Translations for this feature are based on the translation service of Google Inc. and may contain several bugs. For this reason, the German texts are exclusively valid for all contents of our domain (unitedseedbanks.com). The translations into other languages are only for a better understanding of the language of the foreign language.
Delivery Terms
The items offered for sale are mostly in stock, so we are able to ship your order promptly (often on the day of payment). All products can be shipped within 2 to 4 working days. We reserve the right to refuse delivery.
Guarantee
We offer only fresh products in original quality and less than 2 years old.
Prices
Postal charges will be calculated separately. All prices and additional charges will be calculated according to the price list on the day of delivery, as shown on www.unitedseedbanks.com. Prices displayed are valid unless a website database error results in an incorrect price.
Delivery
Due to local laws we cannot deliver certain items to some countries. A list of countries to which delivery is normally possible may be found here. Deliveries will be made by post.
Shipping Costs
Orders over 100.00 EUR will be shipped free. For orders below this amount shipping costs of 5.00 EUR will be charged.
Method of payment
Payment can be made by cash in advance, upon pickup at the store, or by credit card (see next section). Details of each payment method will be displayed at checkout and sent to the customer by email.
Credit Card Payment - Anyday
Credit card payments are processed by ANYDAY. Credit card numbers are forwarded directly from our store to Anyday and are not stored on our servers. Further information about Anyday: anyday.io
Part Deliveries
Unless otherwise specified in the email order confirmation, we reserve the right to make part deliveries. If initially only part of an order can be executed, the remainder will be shipped free of charge.
Refusal of Delivery
If delivery of our goods is refused without due cause, we will charge you for any costs incurred. Our right to fulfilment of contract of sale is not affected.
Complaints
Exchange of goods is only possible if we have executed your order incorrectly or if the product is defective. Goods returned must be accompanied by a copy of the delivery form or payment advice, as otherwise your complaint cannot be considered. If goods are damaged in transit you must notify us within 48 hours, otherwise your right to free replacement expires. We cannot accept responsibility for seeds that fail to germinate, as we sell only seeds which have been regularly tested for their germinability. Complaints regarding germination should be addressed directly to the relevant wholesaler, stating where you bought the seeds.
Warranty
- the customer must inspect the goods on delivery and report any defects to United Seedbanks as soon as possible, at the latest within 8 days.
- if the goods are defective you are entitled to restitution. If this restitution should twice prove unsatisfactory, you are entitled to a price reduction or refund.
Liability Exclusions
- we are not liable for packing errors.
- we are only liable for gross negligence and intent.
