This regular variety is a F1 hybrid of the Clone Only Strain "Erdbeer" (wich means "Strawberry") and the "Purpurea 09
Mother and father are legends in the Swiss hemp scene, so it was obvious to marry these 2 varieties together. She shows a wide range of phenotypes, most of the leaves and sometimes the flowers turn red or purple when it gets cooler in autumn. Some of them also have reddish pens which you can see on the pictures. This hybrid combines the best features of both varieties, it is similarly productive as the Purpurea 09 and similarly strong as the strawberry.
As there are many phenotypes it is ideal for selection and breeding.
We originally developed this strain to breed a regular strawberry, this regular strawberry will also be available soon from Helvetic Seeds. However, since we do not want to keep the Strawberry x Purpurea 09 for ourselves, but also want to make other growers happy, it is now available from us.
The Strawberry x Purpurea 09 is perfectly adapted to the harsh Central European climate. It is almost mould resistant and is ready for harvest between the end of September and the beginning of October.
