Outdoors, Gelato Autoflower is an excellent performer in all climates. She can be grown closely together in small pots and will keep a low profile with plants growing as tall as 100 cm (39 inches), making her a great choice for growers who want a stealth auto-flowering cultivar.

Outdoor

Plants will require 9 weeks from seed until harvest and can be planted outdoors from March until October. As she is autoflowering and is not dependent on light cycles, it is possible to plant from March until October and get impressive results all year through.

Gelato Autoflower does not require much maintenance and can produce up to 500 g/m² (17.5 oz per square foot) indoors. A very generous yielding variety that rewards growers for little effort.

When trimming, it is advised to carefully collect all the high-grade sugar leaf that the plants produce, for making hash, extracts, or edibles with.

Outdoor

Outdoors she can produce 120 grams (4 oz) per plant depending on the pot size, nutrients, and time of year. The hotter the climate, the more productive Gelato Autoflower will become, averaging around 140 grams / 5 oz per plant in a Mediterranean climate.

Plant height & structure

Gelato Autoflower will not get tall and is an ideal strain for those who need stealthy, low profile plants. The growth structure is identical to the photoperiod version of Gelato, meaning this lady grows chunky with thick side branches filled with rock-hard buds.

The final height will vary between 90-120 cm (35-47 inches). Her buds will be dense, hard to squeeze and stack up and swell during the final 2 weeks of bloom.

Training

She will grow medium height with a stocky profile, so it is best to plant directly into a large size pot, such as 50 liters (11 gallons) and leave until the harvest date. Avoid repotting and topping and allow growing without any unnecessary stress.
