Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Amnesia Flash
Amnesia Flash is an in-house development by Anesia Seeds. The breeder states that it created the strain from the best Dutch lines, selected for strength and intensity; it does not name the exact parent strains. It lists it as a Cup winner without naming the competition. The ratio is 80% Indica and 20% Sativa, the THC content 27%. The plants grow vigorously and bushily with short internodes and, according to the manufacturer, are considered very resistant to mildew, mould and pests. The flowers become very large and conical and are covered in resin. The seeds are feminised and photoperiod, so flowering only begins after the light cycle is switched. Another strain from the same breeder with a very high stated THC content is Frozen Black Cherry.
Who Is Amnesia Flash For?
Amnesia Flash combines robust growth with high potency. It suits:
- Beginners looking for a plant that is resistant to mildew and mould
- Yield-focused growers – the manufacturer states 700 g/m²
- Outdoor gardeners in sunny locations with harvest in mid-October
- Resin lovers who give flowering an additional week
- Experienced consumers looking for a very strong effect
It is less suitable for consumers with a low tolerance: at 27% THC, the effect sets in quickly and strongly, according to the manufacturer. You can find more potent strains under strains with a high THC content.
Growing Amnesia Flash: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
In the grow room, according to Anesia Seeds, Amnesia Flash needs 65 days of flowering. The breeder advises giving it an additional week to increase resin production further. The plants reach a medium height of 100 to 140 cm, stay bushy and form short internodal spacing. As the yield, the manufacturer states 700 g/m². The high resistance to mildew, mould and parasites is highlighted. With flowers this large and conical, it is nevertheless worth keeping the canopy airy and supporting the side shoots in good time. The intense aroma makes an activated carbon filter sensible. If you are growing for the first time, the tips for beginners in the Growpedia will help you.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, according to the manufacturer, Amnesia Flash can be harvested in mid-October and grows 150 to 200 cm tall. Anesia Seeds states 1,000 g per plant, and even more in sunny areas. The strain is considered vigorous and resistant to mildew and mould – an advantage when the autumn turns damp. Nevertheless, choose a spot in full sun, because the yields stated refer to sunny locations. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Amnesia Flash
According to Anesia Seeds, Amnesia Flash smells very intensely floral; the breeder describes the flavour as sharp, almost like chillies, and in the fact sheet as floral and spicy. The manufacturer does not state a lab terpene profile. In its words, the effect is anything but gentle: it sets in quickly and strongly and lasts for several hours. It is very relaxing on the body and at the same time mentally activating. Anesia Seeds stresses that the potency challenges even practised smokers. At 27% THC, the strain ranks among the very strong ones; if you have little experience of consumption, you should start with a small amount and wait. How intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
