Genetics & Origin of Amnesia Lemon Kush
Original Sensible Seeds describes Amnesia Lemon Kush with an image from the bar: an intoxicating shot of Amnesia Lemon, cushioned by a dram of Indica Kush. Accordingly, the cross is Amnesia Lemon × Kush, the ratio 60% Sativa to 40% Indica. The breeder gives the THC content as 21%; it does not state a CBD value. As a special characteristic, it highlights the resistance to mould and diseases, adding that the strain thrives in all types of substrate. The seeds are feminised and photoperiod – flowering only starts with the switch of the light cycle to 12/12. The strain is available in five pack sizes, each with bonus seeds. An Amnesia Lemon from a different breeder is available in the Barney's Farm range: Amnesia Lemon.

- Citrus fans who like lemon and lime with a Kush undertone
- Indoor growers who work in SOG or ScrOG
- Outdoor gardeners with space for plants of 200 to 250 cm

Growing Amnesia Lemon Kush: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Indoors, Amnesia Lemon Kush flowers for 65 to 75 days and reaches 100 to 160 cm, according to Original Sensible Seeds. Under optimal conditions, the breeder states up to 600 g/m². The strain grows in all types of substrate and is suitable for SOG as well as ScrOG set-ups; at a height of up to 160 cm, a net helps to keep the shoots flat. The manufacturer emphasises the resistance to mould and diseases and promises cultivation without complications. We nevertheless rate the strain for experienced growers, because at the upper end of the range flowering takes more than ten weeks and has to be managed stably for a correspondingly long time. You will find practical knowledge in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, according to the manufacturer, Amnesia Lemon Kush grows 200 to 250 cm tall and is ready for harvest around mid-October. Under the right conditions, up to 1 kg per plant is possible according to Original Sensible Seeds. Plants of this size need plenty of root space, a spot in full sun and sturdy supports. The mould resistance that the breeder highlights is an advantage in autumn but is no substitute for regularly checking the flowers. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Terpenes of Amnesia Lemon Kush
Citrus defines the profile: Original Sensible Seeds cites deep, intense citrus aromas and describes lemon peel and lime, complemented by floral-sweet Haze tones and an earthy Kush base. The breeder lists myrcene, terpinolene, pinene, caryophyllene and ocimene as the dominant terpenes but gives no measured values for them. According to its description, the effect sets in quickly: at first euphoric and with strong stimulation in the head, then it relaxes mind and body. The manufacturer clearly warns that the psychoactive power is not for the faint-hearted and recommends the strain only to experienced smokers. With 21% THC it is strong. Dose carefully – how intense the effect is depends on dose and personal tolerance.
