Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Auto AK
Auto AK is the autoflowering version of AK47, which Female Seeds calls a legend. For the strain, AK47 was crossed with Lowryder. According to the manufacturer, Lowryder turns AK47 into a fast, autoflowering variant: the plant goes into flower independently of the light cycle. According to Female Seeds, the result combines the best qualities of both parents – the flavour and powerful effect of the AK in a compact, fast format. The seeds are feminised. The manufacturer gives no information on the Indica and Sativa share or on the THC or CBD content; we therefore do not add any estimates. Female Seeds also leaves open which breeder the AK47 used comes from. From the same house comes Pure AK, another AK strain that you will also find in our range.
Who Is Auto AK For?
Auto AK is a small, fast autoflower with AK character. It suits:
- Beginners planning a short, manageable first run
- Growers with little space, for example in low tents or cabinets
- Impatient growers who would like to harvest 10 weeks after sowing
- Fans of the powerful, woody, earthy AK aroma
- Consumers looking for a balanced effect of relaxation and euphoria
If you expect large plants and the highest possible yields per plant, you are better served by a photoperiod strain. You can find more autoflowers under autoflowering seeds.
Growing Auto AK: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
According to Female Seeds, Auto AK needs only 10 weeks from seed to harvest; flowering accounts for 8 weeks of this. At 40 to 80 cm, the plant stays small and also fits into low tents. The manufacturer describes the yield as high for an autoflower but does not give a figure in g/m². Because the cycle is so short, it pays to sow the seeds directly into the final pot and to avoid repotting and heavy pruning. According to the breeder, the AK smell is powerful and penetrating – an activated carbon filter therefore makes sense. You will find the most important basics for your first run in the tips for beginners.
Outdoor Growing
Female Seeds gives no specific information on growing outdoors, neither on height nor on yield per plant. As the strain flowers independently of day length, the harvest date depends on when you sow: reckon with the 10 weeks stated by the manufacturer and time the cycle for the warm, bright months. Thanks to its small size, the plant also fits on a balcony or terrace; a sunny spot sheltered from the wind is ideal. You can find more strains for outdoors under automatic seeds outdoor. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Auto AK
According to Female Seeds, Auto AK smells like a typical AK: powerful, penetrating and unmistakable. The breeder describes the flavour as woody and earthy with a pinch of spiciness. The manufacturer does not give a lab terpene profile. According to its description, the effect sets in directly and powerfully; it speaks of a "full-spectrum stone", a balanced mix of relaxation and euphoric creativity. Female Seeds does not give a THC value, but the effect is expressly described as powerful. Especially if you have little experience, you should therefore start with a small amount and wait for the effect. How intense it is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
Note: Effect information is based on manufacturer data and user experience and does not constitute medical advice.
