Genetics & Origin of Auto Amnesia Dream XL Edition
With this strain, Kannabia wanted to fulfil a frequent wish: to shorten the long flowering time of Amnesia Haze. To do so, the breeder crossed Amnesia Auto with Amnesia Haze and took care to keep the influence of the Ruderalis parent as small as possible. The outcome is a Sativa-dominant hybrid that Kannabia describes as a large, vigorous plant with a robust, branching stem. The manufacturer does not state a Sativa share in per cent; the THC content is 18%, the CBD content below 0.5%. The seeds are feminised. Kannabia expressly mentions one special feature: the strain can behave like an autoflower, but also like a fast plant that depends on the light cycle. You will find another Amnesia strain from the breeder in our range with Amnesi-K Haze.
Who Is Auto Amnesia Dream XL Edition For?
Auto Amnesia Dream XL Edition is a Haze for shorter time windows. It suits:
- Amnesia Haze fans for whom the original's flowering time is too long
- Outdoor gardeners, as Kannabia expressly recommends growing outdoors
- Growers with space for plants that reach 120 to 200 cm outdoors
- Indoor growers who work with 20 hours of light a day
- Consumers looking for a stimulating strain with 18% THC
It is less suitable if you need strictly predictable autoflower behaviour: according to the manufacturer, the strain can also respond to the light cycle. You can find more strains for outdoors under automatic seeds outdoor.
Growing Auto Amnesia Dream XL Edition: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Kannabia gives the entire cycle from seed to harvest as 70 to 90 days; the manufacturer does not state a separate flowering time. Indoors, the plants grow 60 to 90 cm tall on average, and under optimal conditions around 400 g/m² can be expected, according to the breeder. Light is important: because the strain can also behave like a fast photoperiod plant, Kannabia recommends 20 hours of light and 4 hours of darkness for indoor growing. The manufacturer also advises airy, well-aerated substrates and moderate feeding. You will find the basics on this in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Kannabia expressly recommends growing outdoors. According to the manufacturer, planting is possible between March and October. The plants reach 120 to 200 cm on average; the breeder reports specimens two metres tall. As yield it states 200 to 300 g per plant. According to the manufacturer, the plants grow robust and well branched; a sunny spot and restrained feeding nevertheless remain important. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Auto Amnesia Dream XL Edition
Kannabia describes a citrus-fruity and earthy flavour with a floral aroma. The manufacturer does not name individual terpenes or lab values. It lists the effect as stimulating: it begins euphoric and turns into a very long-lasting relaxation. According to the breeder, the THC content is 18%, the CBD content below 0.5%. Kannabia also points out that the effect can be delayed in setting in – so wait before you take more. If you use the strain during the day, you should allow for the later, relaxing phase. How intense it is in an individual case depends on dose and personal tolerance.
Note: Effect information is based on manufacturer data and user experience and does not constitute medical advice.
