Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Auto Amnesia Ryder
Auto Amnesia Ryder is the autoflowering version of Amnesia, which World of Seeds counts among the best-known Sativa strains worldwide. For the auto, Amnesia genetics were crossed with a robust Ruderalis. The breeder does not say exactly which Amnesia line was used or how Sativa, Indica and Ruderalis are distributed; it merely lists the strain as Sativa-dominant. The THC content is given as 20%, and there is no information on CBD. The character of the classic – a clear high and a distinctive citrus aroma – is meant to be retained in a more compact plant of 40 to 120 cm. The manufacturer also cites good resistance to pests and mould. The seeds are feminised and need no light control. The autoflowering Auto Sugar Mango Ryder also comes from World of Seeds.
Who Is Auto Amnesia Ryder For?
Auto Amnesia Ryder brings Amnesia character into a small, fast format. It suits:
- Beginners who want to grow without controlling the light
- Growers with small set-ups or who want to grow discreetly
- Outdoor gardeners who want to start in spring
- Fans of citrus aromas with a spicy note
- Consumers looking for a mentally stimulating strain for creative hours
It is less suitable if you expect big yields outdoors – the manufacturer states 25 to 70 g per plant – or are looking for a calming strain for the evening. You can find more uncomplicated autoflowers under autoflowering seeds for beginners.
Growing Auto Amnesia Ryder: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
As an autoflower, Auto Amnesia Ryder flowers independently of the light cycle; for indoors, World of Seeds recommends 20 hours of light and 4 hours of darkness. For the duration, the manufacturer states 55 to 65 days from germination. It lists this figure under “flowering time” but counts from germination – so allow some extra time and judge ripeness by the trichomes. The plants grow 40 to 120 cm tall, and according to the manufacturer the indoor yield is 350 to 450 g/m². The compact structure also fits into small tents. It is best to put the seedlings straight into their final pot, as autoflowers have little time to make up for transplant stress. You can read more about this in the Growpedia tips for beginners.
Outdoor Growing
For outdoors, World of Seeds recommends starting in spring. The height figure of 40 to 120 cm applies to indoors and outdoors together; the manufacturer states a yield of 25 to 70 g per plant. The good resistance to pests and mould that it attributes to the strain is helpful. A sunny spot sheltered from the wind gets the most out of autoflowers. You can find more strains for outdoors under automatic seeds outdoor. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Auto Amnesia Ryder
World of Seeds describes the scent as citrusy, spicy and slightly incense-like; in flavour, the strain is fruity and fresh with a spicy note. According to the manufacturer, the classic Amnesia aroma is retained even though the plant turns out more compact. The manufacturer does not give a lab terpene profile. It describes the effect as a clear, active high: strongly mentally stimulating, creativity-enhancing and long-lasting, suited to productive phases or social moments. The THC content is given as 20%; there is no CBD value. For a strain that is also aimed at beginners, that is considerable potency – so start with small amounts. How intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
