Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Auto Girl Scout Cookies
After the success of its photoperiod Girl Scout Cookies, Original Sensible Seeds wanted to offer the strain as an autoflower too. To do so, the breeder crossed the in-house Girl Scout Cookies with Auto Ghost OG; the data sheet gives the cross as “(OG Kush, Durban Poison), Auto Ghost OG”. The outcome is an autoflowering strain that goes into flower independently of the light cycle and, according to the manufacturer, is finished in 65 to 70 days from sowing to harvest. Original Sensible Seeds gives the THC content as 20%; it describes the flowers as packed with resin crystals. The breeder does not state an Indica/Sativa ratio or a CBD value. The seeds are feminised. If you have more time and prefer the original strain, you will also find Girl Scout Cookies by Original Sensible Seeds in our range.
Who Is Auto Girl Scout Cookies For?
Auto Girl Scout Cookies brings Cookies genetics into a very short cycle. It suits:
- Growers who would like to harvest 65 to 70 days after sowing
- Indoor gardeners with limited height, as the plants stay at 80 to 100 cm
- Fans of Girl Scout Cookies who are looking for an autoflower
- Lovers of fruit, incense and Kush aromas
- Consumers who appreciate a balanced effect between head and body
It is less suitable for outdoor gardeners who expect large individual plants with a high yield – the manufacturer states 150 g per plant. You can find packs with additional seeds under Bonus Seeds.
Growing Auto Girl Scout Cookies: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
As an autoflower, Auto Girl Scout Cookies does not need the light cycle to be switched. Original Sensible Seeds states a life cycle of 65 to 70 days from sowing to harvest; the breeder does not give a separate flowering time. Indoors the plants reach 80 to 100 cm, and the manufacturer states 600 g/m² as the yield. The strain description contains no advice on training or feeding. With such a short cycle, it pays to put the seeds straight into the final pot and to train only gently, because there is hardly any time to recover after stress. For the Kush aroma, a carbon filter makes sense. You will find the basics on light and climate in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
For outdoor growing, Original Sensible Seeds states 150 g per plant as an achievable harvest. The breeder gives no information on plant height outdoors or on climate. Because the strain is finished in 65 to 70 days, the harvest date depends solely on the time of sowing; set it so that the entire development falls in the warm, bright months. A sunny, sheltered spot is the best choice. You can find more strains for outdoors under automatic seeds outdoor. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Auto Girl Scout Cookies
Original Sensible Seeds describes aroma and flavour as complex – a blend of fruit, incense and Kush. The manufacturer does not state a lab terpene profile. According to the strain description, the effect is well balanced between a cerebral high and a relaxed body feeling and is said to leave you completely relaxed in the end. The breeder gives the THC content as 20% and emphasises that the flowers are packed with resin crystals. It does not state a CBD value. The manufacturer gives no further details, for example on the duration of the effect or on individual flavour notes. At 20% THC the strain is strong; how intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
Note: Effect information is based on manufacturer data and user experience and does not constitute medical advice.
