Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Auto Gorilla Glue #4
With Auto Gorilla Glue #4, Original Sensible Seeds has turned one of its most popular photoperiod strains into an autoflower – according to the breeder, Gorilla Glue #4 is its bestseller. It was crossed with Critical Diesel Auto. According to the manufacturer, the starting material was the genetics of the original US creation, which it says can match the strongest strains in the world for potency. The data sheet states 20% THC, while elsewhere the breeder speaks of about 20 to 22% and, at the top end, of up to 25%. It gives no information on the CBD content or on the ratio of Indica to Sativa; in the shop the strain is listed as an Indica-Sativa hybrid. The seeds are feminised and flower independently of the light cycle. If you would like to compare, you will also find Auto Gorilla Glue by Barney's Farm in our range.

Growing Auto Gorilla Glue #4: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Original Sensible Seeds gives 65 to 70 days from seed to harvest – that is the entire life cycle; the manufacturer does not state a separate flowering time. Indoors, the average height is 80 to 100 cm; the data sheet sets the range somewhat wider at 60 to 120 cm. The expected yield is 500 g/m². As the strain forms large colas, supports and good air movement in the upper area make sense. Autoflowers leave little time for corrections: put the plants straight into their final pot and avoid stress in the first weeks. You will find further basics in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
For open ground, the data sheet states a height of 60 to 120 cm. For the yield there are two manufacturer figures: an average of 100 g per plant, and elsewhere 150 g; in a greenhouse the breeder considers over 200 g per plant possible. The breeder lists October as the harvest month; with a life cycle of 65 to 70 days, however, the actual date depends on sowing. Choose a warm, sunny spot. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Terpenes of Auto Gorilla Glue #4
Original Sensible Seeds describes classic aromas: fruity, woody and diesel-like with citrus notes. The terpene profile of the data sheet fits this – caryophyllene is dominant, accompanied by limonene and myrcene. The manufacturer calls the effect well balanced between body and mind. At the same time, it describes the strain as a “THC-producing machine”: the data sheet shows 20%, while elsewhere there is talk of about 20 to 22% and, at the top end, of up to 25%. The breeder does not give a CBD value. For occasional consumers that is a lot; start with a small amount and wait for the effect. How intense it is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
