Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Auto Gorilla Glue
Auto Gorilla Glue is the autoflowering version of Gorilla Glue from Barney's Farm. For it, the breeder crossed Gorilla Glue #4 with its BF Super Auto #1, which it describes as the next generation of its autoflower lines. The result is a slightly Indica-dominant hybrid with 55% Indica and 45% Sativa, which Barney's Farm counts as part of its Autoflowering Cali Collection. The seeds are feminised and autoflowering: flowering begins independently of the light cycle. For the THC content, the manufacturer states 25%, and 26% in the current data sheet; it does not give a CBD value. According to Barney's Farm, the plants form large, fragrant flowers with very tight node spacing. The same auto line is also found in the breeder's Auto Zkittlez OG.
Who Is Auto Gorilla Glue For?
Auto Gorilla Glue is a fast autoflower with a powerful effect. It suits:
- Beginner growers who want to harvest without switching the light cycle
- Growers short on time who would like to be finished in 70 to 75 days
- Indoor growers with medium-height tents
- Outdoor gardeners looking for a manageable plant of 100 to 130 cm
- Consumers who appreciate a heavy, body-focused stone in the evening
It is less suitable for consumers without tolerance: Barney's Farm itself says it is not a plant for beginners and urges respect for the very hard-hitting effect. You can find more strains under autoflowering seeds for beginners.
Growing Auto Gorilla Glue: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Barney's Farm states 70 to 75 days from seed to harvest for Auto Gorilla Glue; the manufacturer does not give a pure flowering time. The light cycle does not need to be switched. For the height, the current data sheet states 80 to 100 cm, while elsewhere Barney's Farm speaks of 100 to 110 cm. According to the manufacturer, the indoor yield is 500 to 600 g/m². Because of the very tight node spacing and the large flowers, good air movement is important. Autoflowers leave little time for recovery – so sow directly into the final pot. Help for your first run is available in the tips for beginners in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, according to Barney's Farm, Auto Gorilla Glue grows 100 to 130 cm tall. The manufacturer gives the yield as 230 to 300 g per plant. A sunny, sheltered spot helps to achieve this figure. There is no harvest month with an autoflower: what matters is the sowing date, from which the 70 to 75 days run. You can find more strains under automatic seeds outdoor. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Auto Gorilla Glue
During flowering, according to Barney's Farm, Auto Gorilla Glue gives off scents of coffee and cream. The data sheet lists coffee, spices and earthy notes for the aroma, and creamy, spicy and earthy for the flavour. The manufacturer does not give a lab terpene profile. It sums up the effect as a heavy stone: a heavy body stone with physical relaxation, which Barney's Farm also describes as psychedelic and exuberant. The manufacturer writes that the strain glues you to wherever you happen to be and that its effect should be treated with respect. With 25 to 26% THC, depending on which manufacturer figure you go by, it is very strong and not suited to a large first dose. How intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
