Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Auto Jack 47 XL
At Sweet Seeds, Auto Jack 47 XL (SWS78) emerged from one of the house's most popular autoflowers, Auto Jack 47 (SWS31). Over several generations, the breeder repeatedly selected particularly tall-growing and productive specimens from it; the result is an autoflowering strain of the third generation which, according to Sweet Seeds, retains strong hybrid vigour. The manufacturer gives the composition as 76.9% Sativa, 20% Indica and 3.1% Ruderalis, the THC content as 18 to 21% and the CBD content as 0.1%. The breeder gives the genetics as Jack 47 Auto × Jack 47 Auto. The seeds are feminised and flower independently of the light cycle. The photoperiod Jack 47 by Sweet Seeds is also in our range.
Who Is Auto Jack 47 XL For?
Auto Jack 47 XL is the tall-grown variant of a popular autoflower. It suits:
- Growers looking for an autoflower with a high yield per square metre
- Indoor growers with enough headroom for up to 130 cm
- Outdoor gardeners who would like to harvest nine weeks after germination
- Lovers of lemon and incense aromas
- Fans of the Jack 47 line who would like more plant height
The XL version is less suitable for very low grow boxes; a more compact autoflower fits better there. You can find more autoflowering strains under best autoflowering seeds.
Growing Auto Jack 47 XL: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Sweet Seeds states that Auto Jack 47 XL is harvested 9 weeks after germination, indoors and outdoors alike. That is the total duration; the breeder does not state a separate flowering time, and the light cycle does not need to be switched. According to the data sheet, the height is 65 to 130 cm, with no separation between indoor and outdoor. As the indoor yield, the manufacturer states 475 to 600 g/m². The strain forms plenty of compact, very resinous buds; good air movement keeps them dry towards the end. Because the XL version is selected for height, you should keep an eye on the distance to the lamp. It is best to sow directly into the final pot so that the plant does not stall in the short cycle. You will find the basics in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, too, Sweet Seeds reckons on 9 weeks from germination to harvest and states 60 to 200 g per plant. There is no fixed harvest month with an autoflower – it depends on the sowing date. Place the cycle in the sunniest weeks and choose a sheltered spot; tall specimens appreciate a support. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Auto Jack 47 XL
Sweet Seeds describes the aroma and flavour of Auto Jack 47 XL as sweet and fresh, with tones of lemon and incense. According to the manufacturer, the buds are compact, very resinous and of excellent aroma. The manufacturer does not give a lab terpene profile, nor individual terpenes. Sweet Seeds describes the effect as stimulating, psychoactive and creativity-enhancing; in addition, the breeder describes the strain as possibly one of the strongest autoflowers on the market. 18 to 21% THC with 0.1% CBD are stated. With this potency, dose cautiously at first. How intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
