Genetics & Origin of Auto Jungle Lava
Two Cake lines and an autoflowering base: Original Sensible Seeds gives the cross behind Auto Jungle Lava as Lava Cake × Jungle Cake × XL Auto and speaks of a double helping of sweet cookies. The breeder lists the strain as predominantly Indica without stating a percentage. As for the THC content, the data sheet says 25%, while elsewhere there is talk of 20% and more; the manufacturer does not give a CBD value. The plants form dense, dark green colas with a resin coating that Original Sensible Seeds compares to sticky honey. The seeds are feminised and autoflowering, so the light cycle does not need to be switched. You will also find the photoperiod Jungle Lava from the same house in our range.
Who Is Auto Jungle Lava For?
Auto Jungle Lava is a dessert strain with a powerful Indica effect and a short cycle. It suits:
- Fans of sweet cookie and cake aromas with a diesel note
- Indoor growers aiming for 550 to 650 g/m² with an autoflower
- Gardeners with limited headroom who will appreciate 70 to 120 cm
- Outdoor growers who prefer inconspicuous plants
- Consumers looking for a heavy Indica stone in the evening
It is less suitable for the daytime or for anyone expecting a clear, stimulating effect. You can find more potent autoflowers under autoflowering seeds with super high THC content.
Growing Auto Jungle Lava: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Original Sensible Seeds states around 10 weeks from sowing to harvest for Auto Jungle Lava. The light cycle does not need to be switched for this; flowering begins by itself. The plants grow 70 to 120 cm tall and, according to the manufacturer, produce 550 to 650 g/m². As autoflowers have little time to make up for setbacks, gentle methods such as tying down the shoots are the safer choice. The dense, resinous colas need good air movement in the final weeks; an activated carbon filter helps against the sweet, diesel-like smell. You will find the basics on light and climate in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, the strain also stays compact at 70 to 120 cm. Under optimal conditions, the manufacturer expects 100 to 150 g per plant. With an autoflower, the harvest time depends on the sowing date – ideally place the cycle in the warmest and brightest weeks of the year and choose a sunny, sheltered spot. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Terpenes of Auto Jungle Lava
According to Original Sensible Seeds, the flavour is dominated by sweet cookie, underpinned by earthy diesel and a hint of marshmallow. As the dominant terpene, the breeder names caryophyllene, alongside humulene, limonene and myrcene. It describes the effect as an intense Indica stone that lasts for hours – a strain for the end of the working day, then, and not for tasks that require concentration. As for the THC content, the data sheet states 25%, while elsewhere the manufacturer speaks of 20% and more. Either way, Auto Jungle Lava is a powerful autoflower, for which a small amount is enough to start with. How strong the effect turns out depends on dose and personal tolerance.
