Auto Mandarine Punch 3 seeds

Genetics & Origin of Auto Mandarine Punch

Sensi Seeds places Auto Mandarine Punch in the series of Punch strains, which the manufacturer describes as a cannabis trend from the USA with fruity aromas; this strain emphasises sweet citrus and mandarin notes. The breeder names NYC Diesel, Hindu Kush, White Widow and Maple Leaf Indica as mother plants in the gene pool. The manufacturer's text does not give a direct crossing formula. Sensi Seeds puts the composition at 60% Indica, 20% Sativa and 20% Ruderalis. The Indica dominance shows in the short, sturdy growth, and the Ruderalis share makes the strain autoflowering. The seeds are feminised, so male plants do not have to be sorted out. The manufacturer does not state THC and CBD values. A photoperiod strain that also bears the name Punch is Purple Punch by Royal Queen Seeds.

Who Is Auto Mandarine Punch For?

Auto Mandarine Punch is a compact autoflower with a fruit aroma. It suits:

• Beginners looking for a feminised autoflower with no change of light cycle
• Growers who would like to grow inconspicuously in a small space indoors or outdoors
• Outdoor gardeners in regions with cooler, shorter summers
• Lovers of mandarin, citrus and tropical fruit aromas
• Consumers looking for a deeply relaxing Indica effect for the evening

It is less suitable for hours in which you want to stay active, because the manufacturer describes a powerful couch-lock. You can find more uncomplicated autoflowers under autoflowering seeds for beginners.

Growing Auto Mandarine Punch: Indoor & Outdoor

Indoor Growing

Sensi Seeds gives the flowering time as 9 weeks, or 63 days. That is not the time from seed to harvest: with autoflowers, the vegetative phase comes on top. The manufacturer does not state a total duration; in the shop the life cycle is rated at 9 to 11 weeks as an approximation. The plants stay compact even at full maturity, with a thick central stem and many bushy branches; the flowers form mainly around the central cola. The breeder describes the yield as relatively large for an autoflower, without figures in grams. With a little experience, the strain responds well to Sea of Green, supercropping and lollipopping, according to Sensi Seeds. The light cycle does not need to be switched. You will find the basics in the tips for beginners.

Outdoor Growing

Outdoors, according to Sensi Seeds, the strain thrives in most climate zones, including in countries with cooler, shorter summers; the fact sheet assigns it to a cool to cold climate. Because the plants stay compact, they can be accommodated inconspicuously. The manufacturer does not state a height in centimetres, a harvest month or a yield per plant; with an autoflower the harvest date depends on the sowing date. A sunny, sheltered spot is the foundation. Only grow where it is legal to do so.

Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Auto Mandarine Punch

Even during growth, the plants give off a pleasantly sweet and at the same time sharp citrus aroma, which Sensi Seeds attributes to the combination of Diesel and Maple Leaf Indica. The scent becomes stronger towards harvest and remains distinct during curing as well. In the flavour, notes of tropical fruit and a pronounced sweetness come to the fore. The manufacturer does not give a lab terpene profile. It describes the effect as a full-body stone with a powerful couch-lock, deeply relaxing for the body; the Sativa share shows in euphoria, a feeling of happiness and creativity. Sensi Seeds does not give a THC value, so we refrain from classifying the strength in figures. How intense the effect is depends on dose and tolerance.
