Growing Auto Pineapple Express: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
As an autoflower, the strain does not need the light cycle to be switched. Barney's Farm states a flowering time of only around 30 days; for the entire cycle from seed to harvest, the manufacturer gives 65 to 70 days. Indoors, the plants grow 90 to 110 cm tall, and the breeder puts the yield at 500 to 600 g/m². Because the vegetative phase is so short, it is worth sowing directly into the final pot and avoiding stressful training – setbacks can hardly be made up in this time frame. The manufacturer gives the difficulty level as "easy". The tips for beginners in the Growpedia offer help for your first run.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, Auto Pineapple Express stays manageable at 100 to 120 cm. Barney's Farm states the first to second week of September as the harvest time and 230 to 300 g per plant as the yield. According to the manufacturer, the strain thrives best in temperate to warm climate zones. A spot in full sun pays off, as an autoflower only has a few weeks to build up mass. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Auto Pineapple Express
According to Barney's Farm, Auto Pineapple Express gives off irresistibly sweet aromas, and the flavour is characterised by intense pineapple. The manufacturer also speaks of a delicious, earthy Indica. The manufacturer does not give a lab terpene profile. According to its description, the effect is mainly physical: it relaxes, relieves stress and brings calm to the body. The breeder gives no further details on the head effect or the duration of the effect. With 24% THC the strain is strong; if you have little experience of consuming, you should approach it with small amounts. How strongly you feel it depends on dose and personal tolerance.
