Growing Auto Purple Queen: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
According to Royal Queen Seeds, Auto Purple Queen needs only about 9 weeks from sowing to harvest; the data sheet states 8 to 9 weeks after germination. The flowering phase itself takes 6 to 7 weeks. The plants grow 90 to 130 cm tall indoors and, according to the manufacturer's information, can be kept at approximately 100 cm in a tent; the yield is 350 to 400 g/m². Because the strain does not take up much space, it also fits into a small cabinet. Two phenotypes appear in flowering: around half of the plants turn deep purple, while the other half shows a rich dark green. You will find the basics on light, climate and feeding in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, Auto Purple Queen grows 90 to 140 cm tall and, according to the manufacturer, produces 100 to 150 g per plant. Royal Queen Seeds names mild as the suitable climate. There is no fixed harvest month with an autoflower: what matters is the sowing date, from which you can count on the stated 8 to 9 weeks. A sunny, sheltered spot makes the best use of the short cycle. You can find more strains for outdoors under automatic seeds outdoor. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Auto Purple Queen
According to Royal Queen Seeds, the purple flowers give off aromas of skunk, fruit and citrus. For the flavour, the manufacturer describes a contrasting mix of sweetness, bitterness and spice; the data sheet sums it up as earthy with citrus fruit. The breeder does not name individual terpenes or a lab terpene profile. It classes the effect as relaxing: the high is said to bring body and head to rest, while a wave of euphoria builds with every further puff – your favourite songs sound better and a smile appears. Royal Queen Seeds thus presents the strain as a companion for switching off. According to the data sheet, the THC content is 16% and the CBD content is low. How intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
