Genetics & Origin of Auto Sweet ZZ
With Auto Sweet ZZ, Royal Queen Seeds says it wanted to raise the standard of autoflowering genetics in terms of potency, flavour and yield. As the first parent strain, the breeders chose Zkittlez – listed in the Royal Queen Seeds catalogue as Sweet ZZ – for its award-winning flavour and smell and its relaxing Indica high. Diesel Auto contributed the autoflowering trait and a fast growth cycle. The result is an Indica-dominant hybrid with 60% Indica, 35% Sativa and 5% Ruderalis. The manufacturer gives the THC content as 18%, citing a lab analysis; the CBD content is low. The seeds are feminised. You will also find the photoperiod original strain in our range as Sweet ZZ by Royal Queen Seeds.

Growing Auto Sweet ZZ: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Auto Sweet ZZ flowers independently of the light cycle. Royal Queen Seeds gives the pure flowering time as 6 to 7 weeks. The manufacturer gives two figures for the total duration: the fact sheet states 8 to 9 weeks after germination, elsewhere around 75 days – so expect eight to just under eleven weeks and go by the trichomes. Indoors, the plants grow 70 to 120 cm tall and form a dense canopy; according to the manufacturer, the yield is 350 to 400 g/m². Royal Queen Seeds describes the strain as easy to grow. There are no training recommendations. The tips for beginners offer help for getting started.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, Auto Sweet ZZ stays low at 100 to 120 cm. Royal Queen Seeds gives the yield as 90 to 175 g per plant, and elsewhere as around 160 g. The fact sheet lists the climate as "cold", so the strain is also intended for cooler regions. Nevertheless, time your sowing for the brightest months so that the short cycle gets as much sun as possible. You can find more strains under automatic seeds outdoor. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Terpenes of Auto Sweet ZZ
Royal Queen Seeds names three defining terpenes: caryophyllene as the most abundant, with notes of spice and pepper, plus a high content of humulene with a hoppy flavour and smell, and limonene with a hint of lemon. The fact sheet gives the flavour as citrus and sweet. The manufacturer does not give quantities for the terpenes. It describes the effect as a predominantly body-focused, intense and long-lasting high – "stoned", as the fact sheet puts it – that is strongly relaxing and calming. Royal Queen Seeds recommends the strain for quiet hours with friends, food and a film. According to the manufacturer, the THC content is 18%. How intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
