Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Auto Vesta
Auto Vesta is a development by Buddha Seeds. The breeder gives the cross as European line × American line and describes it as a combination of the best traits of two well-known lines; it does not state strain names for the parents. The result is an autoflowering hybrid with Sativa and Indica components whose exact ratio is left open. According to the strain description, its vigour is striking: the plants grow medium-sized to tall, grow with an open structure and form several productive branches alongside a heavy, dominant main bud. Buddha Seeds describes the THC content as high and the CBD content as low – percentages are missing. The seeds are feminised and flower independently of the light cycle. From the same breeder you will also find Auto Red Dwarf in our range.
Who Is Auto Vesta For?
Auto Vesta is a vigorous autoflower with a citrus aroma. It suits:
- Beginners looking for a robust strain with what the manufacturer calls an easy to medium level of difficulty
- Experienced growers who plan for a brisk run of around 75 days
- Indoor growers with a little more room height
- Outdoor gardeners who need a strain for changing conditions
- Lovers of fruity aromas of grapefruit and mandarin
The strain, which grows medium-sized to tall, is less suitable for very low grow boxes. You can find more uncomplicated autoflowers under autoflowering seeds for beginners.
Growing Auto Vesta: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
As an autoflower, Auto Vesta does not need the light cycle to be switched. Buddha Seeds states around 75 days from germination to harvest; the breeder does not specify a separate flowering time. The plants grow medium-sized to tall; figures in centimetres are missing. For growing under artificial light, the manufacturer states 450 g/m². The open structure lets light and air reach the side branches well, which carry compact, resinous and firm flowers; the heavy main bud is covered in aromatic resin and can do with a support. Buddha Seeds gives the level of difficulty as easy to medium. The Growpedia with tips for beginners explains the first steps.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, Buddha Seeds states 100 g per plant. According to the manufacturer, the strain is considered robust and copes with different growing conditions. Because the entire cycle lasts only around 75 days, sowing can easily be timed for the warmest and brightest weeks. A sunny spot sheltered from the wind offers the best conditions. You can find more strains for balcony and garden under automatic seeds outdoor. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Auto Vesta
According to Buddha Seeds, Auto Vesta tastes fruity with citrus aromas of grapefruit and mandarin. The breeder describes the scent as fresh, fruity and slightly tart; it calls the resin on the main bud aromatic. The manufacturer does not give a lab terpene profile. Buddha Seeds sums up the effect as powerful, relaxing and pleasant. According to the manufacturer, the THC content is high and provides strong relaxation, while the CBD content is low. The breeder does not state a percentage for either of the two values, which is why the strength cannot be classified more precisely. If you do not yet know the strain, it is best to approach it with a small amount. How intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
