Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Motavation
The strain description names Magus Genetics and Serious Seeds as the breeders of Motavation. The manufacturer gives the lineage as Starwarz × Medizin Power. Motavation is photoperiod and available as regular seed, so it produces male and female plants. It is described as a compact, potent Indica; the breeder does not give an exact ratio. The THC content is stated as high, without a figure, and a CBD value is missing. The short, bushy growth habit and the abundant resin production are striking: even during flowering, a thick, glistening layer of trichomes covers the flowers and sugar leaves. From the regular range of Serious Seeds, you will also find Warlock Regular and AK-47 Regular.
Who Is Motavation For?
Motavation is small in stature and big in resin production. It suits:
- Beginners looking for a compact strain that, according to the breeder, is low-maintenance
- Growers with small rooms or cabinets with limited height
- Selectors and hobby breeders who work with regular seeds
- Resin lovers who appreciate sticky, trichome-rich flowers
- Consumers looking for a deeply relaxing effect
It is less suitable for outdoor gardeners in humid regions: outside, it does not ripen until mid to late October and, according to the breeder, copes better with a dry climate. You can find more strains under regular seeds for beginners.
Growing Motavation: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Indoors, Motavation flowers for 55 to 60 days. The plant stays short and bushy and, according to the breeder, is therefore ideal for small rooms, cabinets and low set-ups; it describes it as particularly low-maintenance. It rates the yield as high but gives no figure in g/m². Because the flowers and sugar leaves are covered in resin early on, there is less work when manicuring. As the seeds are regular, it is best to germinate more seeds than the number of plants you want to keep and determine the sex in pre-flowering; male plants are removed unless pollination is wanted. An activated carbon filter makes sense for the striking smell. You can read the basics in the tips for beginners.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, Motavation retains its compact structure. According to the breeder, harvest falls in mid to late October; the yield is stated as high here too, without a figure in grams per plant. The strain description points out that the strain is better suited to dry climate zones. In regions with a wet autumn, a greenhouse or a spot protected from rain is therefore the safer choice. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Motavation
Motavation smells unusual: the scent is sweetish and, according to the strain description, reminiscent of fresh paint, i.e. of varnish. For the flavour, sweet and tart notes with a chemical, fresh touch are mentioned – a profile that stands out clearly from the familiar. The manufacturer does not give a lab terpene profile. The breeder describes the effect as deeply relaxing and strongly physical, while creative in the head: a typical couch-lock with an inner lightness. It states the THC content as high without giving an exact value; a CBD value is missing. With regular seeds, individual plants may differ in aroma and strength. How intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
