Motavation 6 seeds

Genetics & Origin of Motavation

The manufacturer names Magus Genetics and Serious Seeds as the breeders. There are two slightly differing statements on the lineage: the fact sheet gives Starwarz × Medizin Power, while elsewhere the manufacturer speaks of a cross of Starwarz, Medizin Power and London Memories. The character the manufacturer describes is clear: a compact Indica with an exceptional aroma and a strong body effect. The plant stays short and bushy and produces a remarkable amount of resin – even during flowering, the flowers and sugar leaves are covered in a thick, glistening layer of trichomes. The manufacturer describes the THC content as high without giving a value; it gives no information on CBD or on the exact Indica and Sativa shares. The seeds are feminised and photoperiod. If you want to select or breed, you can also find the strain as Motavation Regular.

Who Is Motavation For?

Motavation is a small plant with a powerful effect. It suits:

• Growers with low tents or cabinets where height is limited
• Beginners looking for a strain that the manufacturer describes as low-maintenance
• Lovers of unusual aromas that stand out from the mainstream
• Growers who appreciate resin-rich, sticky flowers and little work when manicuring
• Consumers who want to switch off physically and stay creative in the head

It is less suitable for damp autumn locations outdoors, as harvest only falls in mid to late October and the manufacturer recommends dry climate zones. You can find other uncomplicated strains under cannabis seeds for beginners.

Growing Motavation: Indoor & Outdoor

Indoor Growing

Indoors, Motavation plays to its strengths: the plant stays short and bushy and, according to the manufacturer, is suitable for small rooms, cabinets and low setups. The flowering time is 55 to 60 days, i.e. around eight to eight and a half weeks; as a photoperiod strain, it only flowers after the switch to 12/12. The manufacturer gives the yield as high without stating figures in g/m², and describes the strain as particularly low-maintenance. The thick layer of resin on the flowers and sugar leaves saves work when manicuring. Because of the distinctive smell, a carbon filter makes sense, and with bushy growth good air movement inside the plant helps. You will find tips for your first run in the Growpedia for beginners.

Outdoor Growing

Outdoors, Motavation retains its compact structure. According to the manufacturer, harvest falls in mid to late October, which is fairly late in the year; accordingly, it recommends the strain rather for dry climate zones. The yield outdoors is also described as high; a figure per plant is missing. In regions with wet autumns, rain protection or a greenhouse is the safer choice. Only grow where it is legal to do so.

Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Motavation

The aroma is the hallmark of Motavation: a sweetish scent with a distinctive varnish note that, according to the manufacturer, is reminiscent of fresh paint – unusual but pleasant and highly recognisable. It describes the flavour as sweet and tart with a chemical, fresh touch. The manufacturer does not give a lab terpene profile. According to its account, the effect is deeply relaxing and strongly physical, while the mind stays creative; the manufacturer speaks of a typical couch-lock with an inner lightness and recommends the strain to creative minds with an affinity for the couch. The THC content is given as high; an exact value is missing, as is any information on CBD. How intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
