Genetics & Origin of Orange Stash Lisa
Orange Stash is a line that the breeder at Dragons Flame Genetics says is particularly close to his heart. It is based on Orange Dreams × Dragons Stash – two lines that are related to each other: put simply, the breeder took mother and daughter of the same paternal line, worked and selected the offspring and then recombined the best of both. The aim was to isolate the preferred traits while preserving hybrid vigour. Because the parents are related, this is not a typical F1 polyhybrid, according to the breeder. Dragons Flame Genetics lists the strain as an Indica hybrid; the breeder does not state percentages or a THC value. As regular seed, it produces male and female plants. Another regular line from the breeder is Blackberry Gas Regular.
Who Is Orange Stash "Lisa" For?
Orange Stash "Lisa" combines uncomplicated plants with a strong aroma and, according to the breeder, high resistance. It suits:
- Beginners who want to gain their first experience with regular seeds
- Selectors who choose a mother plant from ten seeds
- Hobby breeders who use male plants for their own crosses
- Lovers of citrus and Blueberry Kush aromas
- Growers who appreciate very resinous flowers
It is less suitable for anyone who wants only female plants without selection or expects fixed figures for THC and yield. You can find more strains from American breeders under US Genetics.
Growing Orange Stash "Lisa": Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Dragons Flame Genetics gives the flowering time as 8 to 10 weeks; with this photoperiod strain it only begins after the switch to 12/12. The breeder describes the plants as consistently low-maintenance, high-yielding and very resinous and rates the resistance as high. The breeder gives no figures for height or for yield in g/m². As these are regular seeds, it is best to germinate more seeds than the number of plants you want to keep, determine the sex in pre-flowering and remove male plants unless pollination is wanted. Because of the strong smell, an activated carbon filter makes sense. The first steps are explained in the tips for beginners in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
The strain is listed for both indoors and outdoors. The breeder does not state a harvest date for open ground, nor a height or yield per plant. Dragons Flame Genetics gives the resistance as high – a sunny spot nevertheless remains the best choice. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Orange Stash "Lisa"
According to Dragons Flame Genetics, the plants of this line smell intensely of citrus fruit and Blueberry Kush; the breeder raves about an intoxicatingly strong terpene scent. The breeder names neither a lab terpene profile nor individual terpenes. On the effect there is only one brief detail: the smoke is described as strong. The breeder provides neither a THC value nor a more precise description of the effect – so we do not add any estimates. With regular seeds, individual plants can differ in aroma and strength, even though the breeder holds out the prospect of consistently low-maintenance, very resinous plants. How intense the effect is in an individual case depends on phenotype, dose and personal tolerance.
