Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Peanut Butter OGKB Fast
Peanut Butter OGKB Fast is the fast edition of Peanut Butter OGKB from Original Sensible Seeds. According to the breeder, it was created with an unnamed in-house hybrid on the basis of the original genetics of Do-Si-Dos and Cherry Pie; as the lineage it lists Do-Si-Dos, Cherry Pie Kush and Secret Hybrid. The data sheet shows 80% Indica and 20% Sativa, and the THC content is 25%. The manufacturer does not give a CBD value. Important for classifying it: "Fast" does not mean an autoflower here. The strain is feminised and photoperiod, so it only flowers after the light cycle is switched – but then particularly quickly. From the same breeder we also stock Do-Si-Dos OG and, with Bruce Banner #3 Fast, another Fast version.
Who Is Peanut Butter OGKB Fast For?
Peanut Butter OGKB Fast combines short flowering with strong key figures. It suits:
- Beginners looking for a strain that is uncomplicated according to the breeder
- Indoor growers who want to harvest after 50 to 55 days of flowering
- Outdoor gardeners with a short season – harvest is in September
- Lovers of earthy, nutty and buttery aromas
- Consumers looking for a relaxing, calming effect in the evening
It is less suitable for very low rooms, as the manufacturer states up to 160 cm indoors and up to 180 cm outdoors. You can find more fast strains under High Yield & Short Flowering.
Growing Peanut Butter OGKB Fast: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
In the flowering room, according to Original Sensible Seeds, the strain needs 50 to 55 days, i.e. around seven to eight weeks. The data sheet states a height of 100 to 160 cm and a yield of 700 g/m². A figure of this magnitude requires plenty of light and consistent conditions – you should not count on it firmly in your first run. Because the plants can reach 160 cm, it pays not to make the vegetative phase too long. The breeder describes the strain as vigorous, uncomplicated and easy to grow. Because of its pronounced aroma, a carbon filter makes sense. The tips for beginners in the Growpedia offer a good introduction.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, according to the data sheet, the plants grow 120 to 180 cm tall. According to the breeder, harvest falls in September – early enough to be finished before the autumn changes in the weather, which makes the strain interesting for shorter outdoor seasons. As the yield, Original Sensible Seeds states 900 g per plant, and as a suitable climate, cool, temperate and hot locations. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Terpenes of Peanut Butter OGKB Fast
Earthy and nutty – that is how Original Sensible Seeds describes the aroma, along with a buttery, nutty flavour with spicy undertones. As the dominant terpene, the breeder names limonene, alongside caryophyllene and linalool. It describes the flowers as shimmering and glittering. The manufacturer describes the effect as relaxing and calming, which fits the 80% Indica character. At 25% THC the strain is very potent; if you have little experience with strong strains, start with small amounts. Original Sensible Seeds does not state a CBD value. How intense the effect is depends on dose and individual tolerance.
