Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Skunk Dream CBD
Skunk #1 is one of the best-known strains from Sensi Seeds and was originally developed in the USA. With Skunk Dream CBD, the breeder presents a CBD version of this line, which it describes as strictly non-psychoactive. It names Skunk #1 as a parent; the strain description does not reveal any further parent lines. The strain is Sativa-dominant with 70% Sativa and 30% Indica. Sensi Seeds gives the ratio of THC to CBD as 1:26: only 0.25% THC with around 7% CBD. According to the manufacturer, the flavour and scent of Skunk #1 are retained. The seeds are feminised and photoperiod, so flowering only begins after the switch to 12/12. In addition, the breeder describes the plants as naturally pest-resistant. The shop stocks a Skunk #1 from another breeder as Skunk #1 by Barney's Farm.
Who Is Skunk Dream CBD For?
Skunk Dream CBD delivers classic Skunk aroma without the high. It suits:
- People who would like to enjoy the flavour of Skunk #1 without a noticeable psychoactive effect
- Beginners looking for a feminised, naturally pest-resistant strain
- Indoor growers with ample headroom for plants with a Sativa-like stretch
- Outdoor gardeners in warm, sunny regions with a Mediterranean climate
- Experienced growers who work with SCROG or supercropping
It is less suitable for low tents and for anyone looking for a THC-rich strain with a perceptible high. You can find such strains under Super High THC Content.
Growing Skunk Dream CBD: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
According to Sensi Seeds, the flowering time of Skunk Dream CBD is around 70 to 75 days. The manufacturer repeatedly stresses that the plants grow tall and need space to reach their full height; the quick overview, by contrast, calls them compact. So it is better to plan for ample headroom – there is no figure in centimetres. The growth is typically Sativa-like: stretched and airy, with many fluffy flowers. Indoors, the breeder states 550 to 600 g/m². Experienced growers can experiment with SCROG or supercropping. According to the manufacturer, the fact that the strain is naturally pest-resistant is a particular help to beginners. The Growpedia for beginners explains the first steps.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, according to the manufacturer, Skunk Dream CBD thrives in places with warm, sunny summers, such as in a Mediterranean climate. Harvest normally takes place in October; Sensi Seeds does not state a more precise date. With unlimited root space, the harvest can reach 800 g per plant. Because the plants grow large, they should be given plenty of space. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Skunk Dream CBD
Flavour and scent follow Skunk #1: Sensi Seeds describes the typical Skunk note with an earthy character. During growth, the plants give off a spicy, floral aroma that becomes more intense towards harvest; in the flavour, diesel and a hint of ginger are added. The manufacturer does not give a lab terpene profile. With only 0.25% THC and around 7% CBD, there is no noticeable psychoactive effect, according to the breeder. Instead, users report a pleasant feeling of relaxation in body and mind. The strain is thus aimed at everyone who is looking for aroma and calm but does not want to get high. How you perceive the effect depends, here too, on dose and personal tolerance.
