Genetics & Origin of ZaiZai
ZaiZai is created from two lines that Perfect Tree Seeds counts among the best genetics currently around: OZ Kush, also known as OZK, and Jet A. According to the breeder, OZ Kush stands for candied Zkittlez terpenes with a powerful gas note, while Jet A brings a mix of Gelato and a heavy OG influence. Perfect Tree sees the name as a tribute to a close friend of the house. The breeder describes ZaiZai as a Sativa-dominant hybrid without giving percentages. The breeder does not state a THC or CBD value. The seeds are feminised and photoperiod, so flowering only begins after the light cycle is switched. From the same house comes, for example, Peach Lassi.
Who Is ZaiZai For?
ZaiZai is a strain for growers to whom the terpene profile matters most. It suits:
- Fans of Zkittlez, gas and Gelato aromas
- Indoor growers who plan for around 8 weeks of flowering
- Growers who train their plants into an even canopy before flowering
- Selectors in search of Zkittlez-dominant phenotypes with dense flowers
- Consumers who appreciate a creative high
ZaiZai is less suitable if you expect a firm yield figure: the breeder gives no number and points out that the yield depends on the grower. You can find more strains for the grow room under indoor seeds.
Growing ZaiZai: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Perfect Tree Seeds states a flowering time of 8 weeks for ZaiZai; around 9 weeks is also stated for the strain, so a little leeway in your schedule does no harm. The breeder recommends building an even canopy before switching to 12/12 so that all shoots get the same amount of light. This can be achieved with topping and tying down, for example. Perfect Tree does not commit itself on yield; around 500 g/m² is stated. The breeder does not give a height. According to Perfect Tree, Zkittlez-dominant phenotypes form beautiful, dense flowers that benefit from good air movement in late flowering. You will find the basics on training and climate in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Perfect Tree does not give any figures of its own for growing outdoors. Harvest is stated as October, and the yield as up to 650 g per plant. Because ripening therefore falls in autumn, ZaiZai needs a sunny, sheltered spot outdoors where the dense flowers dry quickly after rain. No outdoor height is stated. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of ZaiZai
Perfect Tree Seeds counts Zkittlez, OG gas and Gelato among the most sought-after terpene profiles of all, and ZaiZai is meant to unite all three: the candied sweetness of OZ Kush, plus gas and fuel notes and the Gelato side of Jet A. The breeder does not name individual terpenes, and there are no lab values. Perfect Tree describes the effect as a decidedly creative high, combined with a feeling of happiness and well-being. The breeder does not state a THC value, so we deliberately do not add a figure here – start with small amounts. How intense the effect is depends on phenotype, dose and personal tolerance.
Note: Effect information is based on manufacturer data and user experience and does not constitute medical advice.
