Manufacturer Information
Genetics & Origin of Amnesia Lemon
Silent Seeds presents Amnesia Lemon as a premium line that expresses the heritage of its two parents: Original Amnesia and Lemon Skunk. The breeder describes it as a classic of the Dutch coffeeshops of the early 2000s, reissued with a lemony terpene profile. The genotype is Sativa-dominant; the manufacturer does not state a percentage. The figures given are 17 to 22% THC and less than 2% CBD. The seeds are feminised and photoperiod, so flowering only begins after the light cycle is switched. Outdoors, according to the data sheet, the strain reaches 3 m. Silent Seeds also lists one parent individually: you will find Original Amnesia in our range, as well as a Lemon Skunk by Royal Queen Seeds.
Who Is Amnesia Lemon For?
Amnesia Lemon demands space and patience and, according to the manufacturer, rewards you with high yields. It suits:
- Haze and Amnesia fans who love citrus aromas
- Outdoor gardeners with space for plants 3 m tall
- Growers in regions with a long, dry autumn
- Indoor growers who plan for 65 to 75 days of flowering
- Consumers looking for a clear, stimulating head high
It is less suitable for short summers and small gardens: harvest does not fall until mid to late October, and the plants grow very tall. You can find more strains for open ground under outdoor seeds.
Growing Amnesia Lemon: Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor Growing
Indoors, according to Silent Seeds, Amnesia Lemon flowers for 65 to 75 days, i.e. a good nine to just under eleven weeks after the switch to 12/12. The manufacturer states 500 to 550 g/m² for this. It does not give an indoor height in centimetres; it describes medium-sized to tall plants with many side shoots. With a Sativa-dominant strain it is therefore worth keeping the vegetative phase short and guiding the shoots outwards with a net or by tying them down. Plan firmly for the longer flowering time and judge ripeness by the trichomes. You will find the basics on training and climate in the Growpedia.
Outdoor Growing
Outdoors, Amnesia Lemon grows into a large plant: Silent Seeds states a height of 3 m and a harvest window from mid to late October. The manufacturer gives the yield as 1,300 to 1,500 g per plant; in some cases, however, only up to 1,000 g is given for the strain. Such quantities require plenty of root space, full sun and a long, dry autumn. In locations with early autumn rain, a greenhouse is the safer choice. Heavy side shoots should be supported in good time. Only grow where it is legal to do so.
Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Amnesia Lemon
In the data sheet, Silent Seeds describes the flavour of Amnesia Lemon as sweet and fruity, elsewhere as intense lemon with spice notes; the breeder calls the terpene profile lemony. For the scent, it lists Haze, incense and cedar alongside lemon. The manufacturer does not state a lab terpene profile. Silent Seeds describes the effect as a clear, stimulating head high with euphoria; after that, according to its information, a pleasant physical relaxation sets in. At 17 to 22% THC with less than 2% CBD, Amnesia Lemon is in the strong range. If you are not used to Sativa-leaning strains, start with a small amount: how intense the effect is depends on dose and personal tolerance.
