Auto Somango XXL Autoflower 5 seeds

Genetics & Origin of Auto Somango XXL Autoflower

For this autoflower, Nirvana crossed Somango XXL with a Ruderalis. The result is an autoflowering hybrid which, according to the breeder, expresses strong terpenes and a multitude of exotic, tropical aromas and whose resilience has been further improved. The plants begin to flower by themselves after the fourth week of their life cycle, regardless of the hours of light. Nirvana gives the THC content as 16 to 18%; in the shop the CBD content is rated as very low. The manufacturer gives no information on the proportions of Indica, Sativa and Ruderalis. It describes long Sativa fan leaves and an open structure that lets plenty of light and air through. The seeds are feminised. You will also find the original strain in our range as Somango XXL.

Growing Auto Somango XXL Autoflower: Indoor & Outdoor

Indoor Growing

Nirvana states 10 to 13 weeks from seed to harvest, and 70 to 91 days under HID light depending on phenotype; the highest-yielding plants take the longest. From the fourth week of life, flowering sets in by itself, and for lighting the manufacturer recommends 12 or 18 hours of light. The plants stretch little, which is why Nirvana recommends them for the Sea of Green and for rooms with little space. The breeder gives the final height as 100 to 125 cm, without distinguishing between indoors and outdoors. Up to 450 g/m² is possible, depending on light intensity, pot size and nutrients. According to the manufacturer, tying down the side branches can increase the yield. You will find the basics in the tips for beginners.

Outdoor Growing

Outdoors, according to Nirvana, the strain thrives in hot climates, tolerates heat stress and is also said to perform well in cold weather and at altitude. For the best results, the manufacturer recommends the summer months; in hot regions such as the Mediterranean, planting from March to November is said to be possible. The manufacturer states up to 150 g per plant. Nirvana advises a large container, around 50 litres, and a south-facing spot. Only grow where it is legal to do so.

Effect, Aroma & Flavour of Auto Somango XXL Autoflower

According to Nirvana, the strain smells and tastes like a tropical fruit salad: fresh mango, plus floral and fruity sweetness. In extracts, according to the manufacturer, earthy and floral notes come to the fore; the very resinous strain is expressly recommended for extracts and bubble hash. The breeder does not name individual terpenes or lab values. It describes the effect as pleasant and calming, at the same time positive, optimistic and creative – without sluggishness or tiredness, with clarity, alertness and a gentle physical note. Nirvana sees it as a strain for the morning and the daytime. With 16 to 18% THC, the manufacturer considers it balanced and also suitable for consumers with a low tolerance; the intensity nevertheless depends on dose and tolerance.
