Origin & genetics
Sour Diesel is a cross between Chemdawg 91 and Super Skunk – both strains with strong genetics and a long tradition. Some sources also suspect that Northern Lights or Mexican Sativa are involved in the lineage, which would explain its invigorating effect. One thing is certain: Sour Diesel originated on the US East Coast in the early 90s and quickly became a legend.
